Luka isn't a great shooter. He just shoots a lot. Scores a lot because he practically owns the ball but he's 38% from three, 57th in the league in FG% and just 78% from FT. Yet, he was the league's top scorer by a great distance. When he's out, things balance out. His team loses some things but also gains some things. This style of play will get him some regular season MVPs and scoring titles but won't get his team any titles. He's just another Harden.

Jokic is an all-around player in and outside but most dominant in offense in the paint, Aaron Gordon is a teammate you can trust to lob the ball and keep dunking and get rebounds, MPJ is a catch-and-shoot player who keeps making a tough shot and a crucial shot throughout the series of DEN vs. LAL, Murray who has been an assassin for Denver against the lakers since last year, he had a very low start at some point but getting super saiyan in 4th Q when it matters the most and killing the lakers with a clutch and game winner shots, Kcp who has been a big help in offense and defense of Denver. Not to mention, the bench players of the Nuggets makes them more stronger.

I enjoy how you breakdown nuggets offense however the real Achilles heel is their defense and inability to defend the threes. For starters, look how many blow byes did LeBron have in the series...too many. Look at Jokic how he is effectively not able to side step or move laterally or guard anybody on the perimeter, allowing blow byes including AD killing Jokic away from the basket as well as he went directly at Jokic. He is just a not good or decent defender and if timberwolves can maintain their discipline on defense, do not overreact to double handoffs between Murray and Jokic or double Jokic, they will win the series. Lebron looked good but this was only round 1 of the playoffs, and he was already pretty gassed at the end of games. Because the Lakers are perennial play-in teams they have no chance of winning a title. 75 NBA champions were a 1-3 seed. 2 were a 4 to 8 seed. It's just too hard to win 4 playoff series on the road. Nuggets are 12-1 at home the last 2 playoffs. And 40 year old Lebron is not leading this team to a 1, 2 or 3 seed.
