Definitely was a bit short. A lot of people complained the same so the promoter decided not to bring it back this year. Sucks cause it’s the only big race that was local for me.

So sorry to just reply. I use the R1 idler and diff. Custom works does have a metal idler now as well. I do not know of a kit that has everything needed. There should be several of the last videos I did that show the R1 body. I just cut the back out right where the body lines fold.

Where gears you working

It depends on the race class and race director. Most of the times in outlaw or street eliminator, you can use whatever prep you like.

I haven’t run it dry tire. So don’t know what it will run without the prep.

I've gotten to 2.5, but tires have no good, and only around 60-65. I'm certain it will do under 2 if tires just stick

Hello. I’m doing well. I have a few videos I need to finish editing from some test sessions. I’ve been to a few races since this but it’s hard to film while trying to race. But mainly my work schedule and teaching have taken up most of my time. I will be finishing those videos and putting together some tutorials over the Christmas break though. Awesome you got you a DC1. I do like mine. I had to add all the tuned parts to mine. It did come with a lay down transmission though.

Honestly, I am not sure. I know it would be difficult though. For the losi, I would think using prep would be problematic due to the weak link of the drive shafts breaking. Mine break all the time. Once I thought I try to put prep on the tires and they both snapped lol. Maybe carbon chassis conversions would help but the rear motor makes it too rear weight biased in my opinion. You have to add a lot of weight to keep the nose down and then you’re too heavy.

LOSI 22S is useless unless someone has any ideas how to lighten the chassis for box stock or real street, traxxas, drag slash can be a contender, but at the end of the day, why not just go with what has been proven. remember, theres 8.5 billion humans on this earth and you aren't the only one doing this.. what u see is what you get...unless you have a CNC machine and a way to make REAL ABS parts, not 3d printed., then NO you will be wasting your time and money....unless that is what you have.

I run the Ghost in some of my cars. They come with 8 gauge wire. I heard the Mamba X is not able to solder in larger wire cause no room and interferes with the current sensor.

Yea I figure show the good with the bad. No way every pass is perfect. I want to show realistically what this hobby is like.

It’s get stuck EAD and spider spunk. I use the spunk to create the initial groove and then each hit I use three coats of EAD (flashing each coat) and then a Mohawk strip of spider down the center of each tire and then flash again.

Hey. Thank you for your support. My best time with the DR10M has been 2.09@74MPH. That’s with the iceman chassis. I’ve heard of others going faster on a stock chassis but I never got there before I destroyed that chassis.

I have tried the Morbo and R Design wheelie bar. I like the R design better. Also R design has some nice lightweight parts for it.

You’re welcome. I have heard going to a three gear will help out to lower the times. I’m considering it myself and for the precision of an aluminum transmission as well.
