Julius thnx for the vid> Cheers from the Mtns of NY! Got my Dr10m a few weeks back. Beautiful build, Im installing the electrics over the next few days. Want to ask your opinion on the front shocks and more importantly the ride height. What have you done to get rid of the high stance upfront? I bought the stock Dr10 front shock tower and now its mega low. Im thinking the best option is to find some shock shafts that are taller. Ill figure it out no doubt > I just wanna see what you might have done.

My DR10M was destroyed when I lost signal and ran it into a curb. I wasn’t recording when it happened so no footage but gonna do an update video about it and show the iceman chassis I got to rebuild it. But I had swapped in gray springs to lower the spring rate which allowed the front end to come down quite a bit. I was running red springs in the back but they were too soft for the r design trans riser and I would get the rear scraping the ground so I was using the stock springs in the rear. I am gonna buy a new Dr10m kit and start over with it stock and go from there. But I gonna run gray springs in the front and red in the rear and keep it all stock per the kit. These springs are associated springs also.

I am pretty sure these are springs I was using. Red springs part number ASC91944 Gray springs part number ASC91832 Check this video on Facebook from John Schultz. My PB is 2.14@69MPH. I added some lightweight parts and was working on getting it lower. Now I have destroyed it when it lost signal and kept going into a curb.

Hey bro! I got the exact car and castle 6400kv what gearing are you running! I'm still putting mine together I picked up a 28th pion with the kit spur wondering if that's to steep 🤔

I’m running the kit 76T spur and a 26T pinion. Just be sure to not go under 7.8FDR is what I’ve been hearing. If you run a 28T pinion you need a 84T spur. I tried to fit that combo but the motor plate won’t allow it. My next mod is a RDesign motor plate so I can go to larger spurs and pinions.

@@juliussmith2630 Thanks for the info awesome! I'll try a 24tooth instead. Seemed like your logs were showing I bit low on the rpm side with the 26 but they came up alot on the Top speed run. 🤔

Yeah. Check out the last video I did. Had more RPM and top speed on the 132ft runs. One thing i forgot to mention is I also changed the pills to give it 0degree toe. Last time I had it at 2 degrees. Plus my ramp on the DX5 pro was conservative. Still gotta do a video about that.

Hey Brother great video I've got a DR10M as well I've been running TEAM ASSOCIATED since the early 90's they don't have 30 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS for no reason man LOL HA HA HA HA HA HA HA 😆 and Brother that is a nice setup I to have run Castle and R1 WURKS in the past but I went back to TEKIN RX-8 GEN-3 ESC with the new version's of 293 and 295 DRAG RACING ONLY software updates with the 295 allowing you to go to the full +60° custom in timing and I have been running the TEKIN ELIMINATOR REDLINE GEN-4 2.0T here lately I also have the TRINITY DRAG MASTER 2.5T and DOUBLE DOWN 6500KV but I've been getting the best times with the TEKIN ELIMINATOR REDLINE GEN-4 so far and since I switched to the CYRUL 3DFX EXCELERATE'S GEN-2'S I also run PRO-LINE REACTIONS ULTRA BLUES my gearing as of now is 23-pinion and 84-spur I am running the TRINITY 10,000mAh LIPO and I'm going to be ordering the new TRINITY 13,500 LIPO that just came out I'm running full carbon F.T. CHASSIS and MORBO C.F. SHOCK TOWERS EXOTEK 3 GEAR TRANSMISSION and a HOT RACING FULL SPOOL so far the best time is 1.8 sec. 83 m.p.h.
