What is the difference between the Creation Space CS0701A and the Creation Space CS0802A?
@CheapCheerful2 күн бұрын
Re: CS08 vs CS07. The only difference with CS08 I've noticed is the pen clip at the end of the driver, to make it look more like a pen I guess. Unnecessary. They're all the same functionally, with only real difference being the case and the accessories you get with it.

Thanks for the feedback. These are not brands names, but cheap no-brand items from Ali Express. You can find them by clicking on the links in the video description, or identify them by how they look in the photos. But yes, I agree, would be better if I could identify them with brand names. Thank you and take care :)

Will the dumbo rc x6 transmitter works with the upgraded receiver for lighting? Or what is the best budget transmitter that works with it
@CheapCheerful4 күн бұрын
So the Dumbo X6 transmitter can be purchased with the Dumbo X6DC receiver (via AliExpress, many shops let you select with receiver when you're buying transmitter) and that X6DC has extra outputs for lights. They both support 6 channels (only need 2-3 for the car), so plenty left to turn lights on/off. I'd grab that combo if I were you, low cost, high features, commonly used.

Excellent reviews.. unlike many other reviewers you are going into details and candidly talking about all the aspects and don't give any false information if you have not explored or experienced. It instills confidence to a prospective buyer and assures him that the reviewer is one amongst them and not a marketing agent of the seller. Please keep up the great job.. wishing you a happy new year 2025 with such amazing reviews and rewarding,too!👍🏾

I just want speed not Torque, which precision screwdriver is fastest?
@CheapCheerful10 күн бұрын
Speed is RPM, shown for each. The fastest by far is the MiniWare ES15S, twice the speed of most others, though a little expensive. Its a very popular driver with professional laptop/mobile repairers.

As i watch your video on these i have all 3 ha ha. The 12v heater does work i use it in my greehouse (small area) size and time does matter the wall unit is of course the best but power hungry unless plugged in a wall. The best pad / blanket is a good direct low voltage heat option.

Hah! That's great :) I thought that time would play a big role. Thank you for confirming.

Good video! I cant see if theres difference between CS0702 vs CS0802 ?
@CheapCheerful15 күн бұрын
Thanks man. The only difference I could see was the 802 has a 'pen clip', like a little metal tab for clipping it onto a shirt or something, which makes it look more pen-like, but unnecessary in my opinion. Specifications for the driver itself seem to be identical.
@marktattam590715 күн бұрын
1st note, you used a usb-a to usb-c cable not a usb-c to usb-c, so it wasn't at full power when it comes to the usb heater pad, thinking of setting 2 of these to the flat sides of my radiators under each window with a solar panel powering them. And yes you can get heat out of any voltage and amperage all that matters is the heating element itself in regards to its resistance value and size thicker wire handles higher currents better thinner wire gets hotter faster also metallurgy knowledge as some metals conduct better and worse if you combine the right diameter of the right metal you can generate heat off of very low voltage and amperage, the fact would don't know this as common knowledge is actually part of the trick of the marketing companies in that they won't produce something that isn't beneficial to themselves most companies that make things like heaters to compete against gas actually have ties and investments from the energy companies themselves to ensure that nothing better is produced, otherwise the energy industry itself would be taking a financial loss. Now I can't guarantee you these products are any good however I can guarantee you that if you want a truly good usb powered heated you will need to make one yourself.
@CheapCheerful15 күн бұрын
I used the cable it was supplied with :) The heating pad was actually quite good, my wife still uses it. More to your point though, there has to be better heating pads that use Power Delivery, though I suspect there's a point where they'd begin to become a fire hazard. As it is, the heat is sufficient in my humble opinion.

I was wondering what heaters do electric vehicles use and are they any good and can they be fitted in a petrol or diesel vehicles and i was wondering how long dose it take to warm up a vehicles ?
@CheapCheerful2 күн бұрын
Good question! Most modern EVs use reverse cycle air conditioning for efficiency (heat and cold), plus a resistive heater (same as tested here but larger) which consumes alot more power so its used only in some situations. But yes, I think finding automotive resistive heaters which are designed to be as efficient as possible would be worth trying. Now you have me thinking about this...

I mean no offensewith this comment, but there's WAAAY too much inconsistency with holding the torguemeter and screwdriver in hand. Both HAS to be locked completely down with clamps or similiar to truely test the torgue. Otherwise you might either absorb or add torgue to the test with your hands. None of these tests can be trusted in any way with such a terrible methology.
@CheapCheerful25 күн бұрын
Nope, 100% agree. I'm just a tiny channel doing this for fun, but yes to do this really scientifically I'd need to bolt it down in a rig. That's good feedback, I will take that into account during my next test. That said, I've had people also argue that torque is meaningless with precision drivers, so yeah, can't please everyone ;) Appreciate the constructive feedback. Take care.

@CheapCheerfulАй бұрын
Yep, mine lasts weeks without a charge. Just make sure you do your research in how to safely build a battery, ensuring all batteries are at a similar voltage, and are of the same capacity, and more. 18650s are much more powerful than AAs and will create fireworks if not treated with respect. Take care :)

Where can I buy an additional battery for the CreationSpace CS0702A? (10400 Lithium Battery) What is CreationSpace's website? Thank you Alberto Costa
@CheapCheerfulАй бұрын
I did not think CS0702A batteries are designed to be replaceable, they're rechargeable lithium. For the price, should last years. If you did want to replace the 10400, then I'd just get a standard one from eBay or AliExpress. CreationSpace is a brand owned by PKey, manufacturer website here. global.mypkey.com/

Hi, Very nice review, I like comparisons with multiple devices. 29:02 : Maybe you could skip the Miniware ES15S definitively after you had a look to the review of Stonelab after 8 months of use. Too much money for such a non-durable device. Maybe you could give a try and review the following devices: - Fanttik NEX E1 MAX - HOTO QWLSD010 - ARROWMAX M1 Pro - KAIWEETS ES21 By the way, the KAIWEETS ES21 is the same as the STREBITO ST017 and also could be found under the brand Galacok 68-in-1 Electric Precision Screwdriver Set, and surely also under other unknown brands

For the 6mm adapter, you can pick up metal ones that go from 6mm hex shank to 1/4" square drive at harbor freight (if there's one near you) for a few bucks which also comes with 6->3/8" and 6->1/2"

I enjoyed the informative-truthful video. I am curious if you have video on mini driver bits and how durable different brands are. I bought a large set from internet and after a month of use the bits are already warn to the point of slipping.
@CheapCheerfulАй бұрын
Hello. Thank you for the feedback. Nothing on bits yet. Metallurgy is difficult and expensive so this is one of the few things I'd recommend going to a legit tool store and buying a brand name. Eg. WERA, Milwaukee, Sutton, others. They won't be cheap, but will last you a long time. Ideally something made in Germany (or most European countries), or Japan, Taiwan, etc.

Did you ever measure the quick charge wattage?
@CheapCheerful2 ай бұрын
Got a meter, will do it now and report back. Edit: Argh, so my meter can't measure its most powerful port which is the Type C which is the only one that provides PD. I think that's pretty common. My meter will monitor USB A ports though, and it's showing 13W (9v @ 1.43A) with the meter reporting QC 2.0 (unsure if meter supports QC 3). When charging via a USB C the phone tells me its receiving 3.3A but won't tell me the voltage, though it's very clearly faster. I'll pickup a Type C meter and see how we go. Eitherway, I've been using this battery practically daily, it's incredible how much use you get out of a good powerbank these days, bloody everything needs USB power.
