Thanks so much for sharing. I had 2016 MDX TECH NOW 2019 MDX Tech.. Rod bearings replaced no issues covered under recall stop start recall. I don’t see anyone mentioning this. Fuel pump replaced after $900 spent on rear brake caliper done. One Acura dealership wanted me to do a diagnostic after first one was done. Took to another Acura dealership and had work done and they performed last recall. Document and stay safe 🙏🏾 MDX has 66k miles.

2022 type s owner here. After getting it back from service I genuinely thought my car was making more power after. Shifts smoother, power delivery is much better and it genuinely feels quicker. Timed my 0-60 and ( fully stock on performance package wheels and tires ) clocked 4.2 0-60 and the weather is cold. When summer hits wouldn’t be surprised if it could be closer to 4 flat.

Hello Honda Jon--Don't know if you're still running this Channel, because last post I see is from four years ago. Nevertheless, want to thank you for the extraordinary expertise in helping me resolve the locked trunk lid issue on my 2018 Honda Accord. I stopped by the nearby Honda Dealership, drove into the garage and mentioned the problem of the stuck trunk lid. Two, crack service guys along with a mechanic looked over the car and, after some thoughtful reflection on their parts, scratched their heads and told me I would have to make an appointment--maybe keep the car overnight--as they troubleshooted the problem. Simply put, three Honda personnel did not know how to solve the problem. Frustrated, I found your channel on the first click, watched your informative and, I might say, very insightful video, returned to my car, opened the glove compartment and flipped the switch to "On." Voilà! Problem solved. I guess I can believe that so many people in positions you hope to trust their judgement as professionals are simply ill-equipped and not up to the task of doing their jobs. So .. Once again, I want to express my thanks and gratitude for your helpful and informative video instruction. Ronald.

I just had two recalls performed on my 2024 Honda Pilot yesterday. (1-30-25). One of them was the 25V-031 2023-25 Pilot PGM-FI Software Update Recall. I definitely noticed a difference in the Pilot. It feels like the transmission shifts more smoothly and doesn't hunt as much. Also, the first to second gear change is much improved. This has been a pretty consistent complaint with the Honda 10 speed in the Pilot. I wouldn't say it is perfect, but the jerkiness happens less, and when it does happen it is less noticeable. It also appears to hold the gears a little longer. I have only driven my Pilot for about 20 miles since the update and I have only used normal mode, but the power delivery in normal mode feels more linear. Personally, so far, I my opinion it is a positive improvement, at least for the Pilot. It is nice to have a safety recall completed and end up with a better overall driving experience. I hope time doesn't change my mind. Good job, Honda.

NO Honda product of Any description since 2004 has been worth my $$$$ . Sad actually . But nothing lasts forever.

Is this not an inherent problem of the system? What happens when debris lands in front of the camera? Can the camera identify a partial leaf or bug from an object in the road? And will it always identify the difference? Wouldn't a chip in the lens also cause problems? Maybe I'm missing something here. I don't have this system and am not sure how it works. If someone has the knowledge, please respond. I'm sure others would like to know.

I’ve had this happen several times when on a right curve on a two lane road where I guess it thinks the oncoming car, in its own lane, is in front of me and brakes hard. If someone had been following me closely they would have hit me in the rear by the time I reacted and accelerated. I now keep my foot by the accelerator so I can respond quicker. It’s quite annoying.

My 2023 CRV definitely has this problem. Many phantom "slow downs" and some crash warnings where nothing can be seen. It is worse if there is a little rain, but that means I can't use cruise control AT ALL in a light rain because of course there is no way to disable this feature. There is no manual cruise control.

I have a 2018 acura tlx aspec 3.5L. About 3 years ago or so at around 60k miles my motor spun a bearing. They replaced my engine. It took about 2 months. About 2 weeks ago my check engine light turned on while entering work and I lost all power on my engine once again. My cars been at the dealership for about 20 days already and once again I believe it’s a spun bearing. They have yet to confirm and are trying to work around it and have me pay for $1900 for labor on taking the motor apart. I have their bumper to bumper warranty up to 120k miles and I currently have 107k miles. Also my car was part of the recall. They haven’t even given me a loaner car so I’ve been without a car. Does this sound right to anyone?
