Note that pressing F to create a new face requires enabling the "F2" addon. It's bundled with Blender and is very handy to enable though. Also for making edges sharper with subdivision, there's no need to add in extra geometry. One can just select the edge, press CTRL+E, and move mouse to change its sharpness.

All the faces have to have 4 sides? What if it's not possible, like the inner top curve of an O and the outer edge of the O having very different number of vertices?

No idea what is happening at 1:20 but pressing F after connecting two vertices doesn't select the next ones, do I have to select everything one by one?

Modeling in Blender is insanely difficult. I wonder how this newer generation of modelers & animators would respond to using Softimage (XSI) the absolute king of 3D modeling. I could build this in a few minutes. Why Autodesk killed that software I’ll never understand.

Thank you for this tutorial! Something I find really helpful for creating clean faces for something like this is enabling the LoopTools add-on in preferences, it gives you options to auto-space and relax your vertices.

Yep this is not a tutorial for beginners. There is little point trying to do a tutorial if you go so fast and do not explain things except fast without pausing and zip in and out of multiple commands super fast as if you can prove how good you are . We can see you know how to do it and we appreciate the chance to learn, but you go too fast . You might be trying to make it easy on learners in your mind, but even multiple freeze framing it is clear you miss stuff out. also again maybe you are trying in your mind to make it easy but the spout is in the wrong place on a face when most of the the models have the spouts centred on a projecting edge. Still great to see what a wonderful program this is.
