Lol I did read The Giver and Where the Red Fern Grows. They were a pleasant distraction from my childhood. I also read 1984 and Ferenheight 451 and never in a million years though I would see America try to create a Ministry of Truth with the cooperation of the supposedly free press, no less.

At 180 minutes, Oppenheimer is only 26 minutes shorter than Killer-of-the-Flower-Moon. To me, it went by almost in a blink, while Killer dragged and dragged to no end

If I was Marvel/Disney I'd have a couple of hundred people whose sole job is to watch KZbin reviews and take notes.

Maybe most people simply aren't good at spotted propaganda at all. I was there to some extent too when I was younger. Still, it seems blatantly obvious from what you described here Greg that these short films are just more woke nonsense. If you sincerely don't notice the anti-white, anti-male messaging in those pieces, even after thinking about it, then.. well okay, I guess it's effective propaganda.

I have a question Why does futuristic Africa in it depiction not use a multitude of shades hues and variations on color representation What makes the future so special that not only are we limited to neon colors but only one or two of those neon colors especially for the fashion since it’s limiting and unrealistic since for most things with one color they have multiple patterns and the African style things have multiples of all these things at the same time What makes the future so special that sometimes the symbols and designs stay but the colors fade Who told them not to mix the rainbow is there a story behind this that could become its own animation Don’t tell me that it’s just western inspiration either without a solution

Princess and the Frog was the best. Tiana being black wasn’t the point, her New Orleans culture was!

you could even go so far as to say that the reason that the ONLY inorganic piece of information given in the first scene of monsters inc is because that was ultimately a lie. might be too deep though, idk.

maybe just having found your channel, i was looking for more criticism of disney's tokenism, but none of the stories you told me sound interesting. I think that's because i'm hearing about them coming from disney storytellers so I know it's not going to be good. dreamworks on the other hand...there's an idea.

I fully welcome more Disney projects focusing on African culture; on the condition that they don't infuse fuckin wokism into it. I want a STORY, not a lecture, I want CHARACTERS, not walking Political Statements.

Anansi is probably the only African character I know of. And Nelson Mandela. Not the one from South African. The other one that George W Bush said Saddam Hussain killed all the Mendelas of the world.

The principles they claim to hold are contradictory and nonsensical for a reason: they don't actually believe what they're saying. They just want to destroy any media that isn't their own propaganda, and they'll say whatever they think will make that happen.

I'll never be able to trust Disney to tell a story again. So hopefully someone else comes along with the resources to do it right, without the political bias and contamination. An animated story about Anansi has huge potential, too.
