What wrong with the bath or a tub

Ive got my piercing 4 days ago using gunshot. 3days later I removed the earings even though i was advised to keep it for atleast 10 days. When i was trying to put on my new earings it wouldn't go in. I tried so many times but it was too painful so i put back the gunshot earings back but now my ears got red and buldged and my ears are too hot and irritating. It there any way to easy the pain and the hotness?

As a side sleeper, I tried to sleep on a elevated pillow (though it would slide down during the night and I'd be on my ear) so I ended up sleeping without a pillow and that helped.
