You're doing great Ezgi, the fact that you're still making videos whilst solo parenting is amazing! I don't have children yet but I often find myself being stressed and overwhelmed so thank you for making me realise that I really have it quite easy! I'm sure it will be x 10 with children! It's interesting how perspective changes when you have kids. I was saying to my friend recently, who has two children, that I didn't have the energy to go to the gym after work, and she said she would kill to have an hour to herself in the gym and basically told me to enjoy all these 'luxuries' which we often label as chores whilst I still can😄x

😆 you’re friend is right! Enjoy the hour to yourself to leisurely do what you like 😊 I also get the same when someone tells me they’re tired or haven’t slept well as they were out the night before 😂 Joke aside don’t feel bad about feeling stressed. Everyone has their own struggles and reasons to be overwhelmed and it’s all valid ♥️ But yes children do make things that bit more complicated 😂

Regarding the parents who smoke, can you not mention it to the school? If there are lots of children walking past them then it might be in the school’s interest to tackle this. Otherwise I don’t think it’s worth confronting them about it

Oh the smoking parents issue it is a hard one. Parents use to smoke right at school gates so we engaged school both thro school newsletter and children doing health topics including no smoking while it did not totally stop issue it reduced it and moved away from school Toy rotation always a winner as was putting % of Xmas and Birthday toys gifts away especially as only 4 days between 🤦‍♀️ I have some of my daughters toys and clothes set aside as if she is lucky to have children she wants them to enjoy. Oh that over touched feeling both skin and ears is truly exhausting I can still feel it and yep husband would come home and I would go she is all yours and go sit in garden in all weather's for 10 minutes. It does change as older but then a endless party, activity, sleep over that morphed to teenage years 😱 Realtionship with partner needs to flex and change as you are no longer just responsibile for yourselves but a tiny human.... Or monster on a bad day. Now my daughter is almost 32 married and was just out of major surgery again late on Thursday evening her husband sitting with me in cafe did his phone ring nope mine with I just want a mum hug message from nurse... Never off call lol her husband was just relived she was out of surgery. Walk before bedtime was, always a winner even in the rain. Do you think the way you are with parents of similar aged children has changed in your working life and even this taste of solo parenting a different insight into how do single parents cope. I know that I look back and yes understand challange patients had more than some colleagues but now I am wheelchair dependent I think wow I wish I had had more insight when working. I can see so many ways in which nurse training could be improved Enjoy your coffee and from another mum who just gets, a glimpse of your life know you are doing well.... Bleach mark only you will notice 🥰

Being a parent has changed my professional life so much. And I was thinking about how much harder everything is for single parents. Even the basics in the day are an effort when you have no support from a partner. Definitely given me a different perspective. Thank you for watching!!

I love all of your comment and also wish your daughter well! 🤞🏼 But I particularly agree with your wheelchair comment - I honestly think everyone should be bound to a wheelchair for a few days just for the eye opening experience it brings, and the level of understanding it would help bring to the world! Obviously it's different for everyone, and even controlling a wheelchair is so so much easier as a fit, healthy person, however it's at least some perspective of what so many people go through, and a glimpse into discrimination in general if they're lucky enough not to have experienced it elsewhere. Ultimately I believe any added perspective is valuable in terms of improving the world we live in, with parenthood being quite a common one, although it obviously relies on people making such reflections too. I'm also with you on the bleach spot, if it's not already too late - not noticeable to anyone else! 😊

Glad to hear your doing okay and Serdal enjoying his friends stag do and I hope Serdal had a good flight back if his back? And with the smokers definitely ignore I’m the same as you I’m not the conflict person but smoking at school gate should not be happening especially as there children about anyways. And I am so glad the children are keeping well to and no more germy germs 🥰 ps (I always have doubts still if I spelt Serdal name right lol )

He's back and I can't be happier!! :) He enjoyed his time away so it made it all worth while. Yh I've decided to leave it for now as well, someone suggested informing the school so maybe they can do a general notice to parents. We are waiting for the next bout of germs - I'm sure its around the corner lol You've spelt his name right !! :)

I don’t think they’re even allowed to smoke there anyways as I know when I volunteered at a children centre they had a sign outside no smoking. And oh no hopefully the next one can wait 🤞 bless them

I have always looked forward to your videos. But this one has too much negativity. I would never want to watch this if I was your kid. There are days of ups and downs in parenting life just like in married life. I’m sure this was shot on one of those “down” days. Years down the lane you would do anything to relive these day. Morning Andy. Thank you for watching my videos. I’m surprised you hear you found it negative. On the day of the vlog I had a great day with the girls actually and we ended it with a nice walk before bedtime. I think you’re referring to when I talk about how having children effect your marriage? If so the points discussed aren’t personally about my kids or their behaviour but how becoming a parent has changed me. So I find it a little harsh when you say “I would never want to watch it if I was your kid”. If you’ve watched my other videos you will get a balance of how it is. The early years are difficult and you can’t sugarcoat it. As mentioned if you watched the whole segment - there are good and bad days and this is a phase we will ride through. Take care
