You mentioned quality riding shorts. Do you have any specific brands youd recommend? Im a more curvy lady and find shorts tricky as a result.

I’ve gone for a few pairs of dhb bib shorts and bib tights. I’m not very curvy or busty, but I’m 5’11” and not a skinny build. The tights zip up to the bust and are quite snug, but the shorts are just pull up with a lot of give. I have quite big thighs, and they don’t give me any “sausage legs,” so I’ve stuck with that brand. I’m not sure where you’re based, but I know Marley Blonsky often discusses her plus size cycling clothing, so could be worth checking her socials/ website out to see if there’s anything helpful there that’s tried and tested. ☺️

Great video and a very impressive mileage 👏 It's always good to see the chuckle sisters out with the ensuing banter 😁 I had to laugh at the 9:04 scene, opening with Becca's head peeping above the bush. I misread the situation and expected your arm to reach out and pass her a roll of Andrex ... im pretty new to cycling, and as well as labial soreness you describe, I was getting clitoral pain and an 'unexplained' bout of cycsitis! Cystitis for Cyclists! 😢.. so I vowed to search out womens saddles, I wanted to find a saddle made BY women FOR women, before I commit... but yes, online research seemed like a very good idea before forking out hundreds of pounds for a bike saddle (when my bike is worth peanuts! I used to live next door to a bike shop and they literally gave it to me for free... ! I think someone bought a new bike, didnt know what to do with the old one, and just left it behind with them!).. Im wondering if you have trialled the ISM Metro saddle, which looks similar to the ISM one you try out here, but with a much fatter bottom area. I dont have a particularly large bum, but I know that a large saddle can be more comfy... have you tried these ones at all? best wishes, and THANK YOU for making a very sensible understandable video about womens saddles (for people with vaginas!) 👍🙏🏻🌟🧡🧡🧡

The Border hills are not spectacular (like many Highland hills), but they are never boring. There is always something different to see, depending on season, weather..... and mood. If you have a fascination for "boob hills", there are also the "Maiden's paps" about 10-15 miles South of Hawick... :-) I walk a lot in the hills to the South of Hawick. Along the old railway track, into the forests towards Newcastleton. Occasionally across the Border, into Kielder, but only briefly as there are more restrictions on places to camp and wander. I no longer have a passport.... why would I bother when I have Scotland's hills on my doorstep?

Unfortunately I have to debunk the title of your video, because this isn't weather peculiar only to Great Britain, I live in Berlin, Germany and the weather here has been exactly the same, as it always is, because this is just weather typical for Northern Europe, because it's all the same weather systems - Germans are even more disparaging about it, and as soon as it rains here they call it "British weather".

I cycle everyday 32 miles to/fro work which involves uphills and am not ashamed to say that the anatomy of my vaginal lips is going through a change by cuts and bleeding. And the funny thing is I have been cycling on this expensive so called forked saddle for women for 2 years. Male designers should be banned to design female saddles. There are times when I want to cut the entire saddle more in the middle to widen the fork area. The saddle you recommended some years ago is unaffordable for me I am afraid, so I have to suffer for a while. I do not know when female cyclists’ plight will be heard, but it is time the designers heard us and designed affordable and ergonomic female saddles.

I’m so sorry to hear that. That sounds absolutely miserable. It’s really expensive trying to find the right saddle, and as someone who is just managing to keep head above water financially each month, I can definitely empathise with the frustration of feeling stuck with an uncomfortable or painful situation. I found that the sweatier I get, the more friction I experience, so use more chamois cream directly applied all around the genitals when it’s hotter or I’m doing longer rides, and got the best bibs I could afford (which aren’t a top of the range brand, but are an improvement). But it’s not completely foolproof. I really hope you find a solution to ease some of the issue soon.

I went back to the Bontrager. I tweaked my saddle position and played around with my cockpit (tried a couple of different length stems, altered the reach to my hoods) and invested in some better quality bibs, and on the whole, for 2-3 hour rides, it’s been much more comfortable.

Hi Debs Lots of good advice. I went for a bike fit with Women in Tandem in Nottingham and they were really helpful in sorting me and my bike. I didn’t have any major problems but the small tweaks made things far more comfortable. They put my stem the other way up and adjusted the reach to the gears and brake which was amazing.
