Mexicans come to the US with nothing but their shirts, and cannot speak the language... Yet somehow they magically get hired over people who are given free education, free meals for kids that go to school, and the exact same education that 'evil whites' get. So we must blame and shame whites when blacks don't graduate high scool, because it makes us holy. Right Karen???

I wanted this to be so good, and the bones of it b eing good, the spirit is there but why is it falling into the same holes as normal church. The computer-OHP that wont work properly and the guy with an advanced gcse in computer tech working it. the speakers that talk about nothing particular - one guy has a 15 minuet talk lasting just over an hour to tell you to pick up paper cups. The other rambles on about paying a taxi driver for a massively long fair in China, because she cant read travel arrangement websites properly... then says its good that they could trust the taxi driver to take them from A to B safely... As a Taxi driver my self I am a little offended, like she got the only good one and all the rest of us are out to mug and rape everyone. Then there't the bit when you have a quiet reflective moment... which is of cause introduced by a dissertation about how having a quiet moment is good, and how the world is filled with noise given by the woman who wants you to be quiet even tho she obviously cant shut up Then obviously remember to donate and give - Because well Money talks - there are some charity references and stuff not to mention a band, which I actually thought was ok, and would probably really like them in other circumstances, very talented but really pushing that boundary of playing music that doesn't fit the crowd. the singer wants to be a rocker but hes too smiley and "approachable" and the grey haired people in the audience, which is why hes all smiley and friendly, all think its just a noise but they clap to be polite. I was hoping Id like this more, I really miss some of the good points about the church thing, I grew up going to a really great one with a large number of loved aunties and uncles who weren't really related... it was great (they all hate me now because I stopped going which makes me an amoral nasty man who hates Jesus) I just cant stomach the religion stuff anymore. so when I heard of S-A i thought it was worth giving it a good look, maybe I could get that social, family link thing back But its hard to find full services to view online. this one is the first I've seen, I really hope its just a bad example... The other thing to add is a question why its so restricted to little areas. here in England i think its mainly in London, maybe like Manchester too, or something... but where I am - nothing. its a shame.

Hi, Laurie! Yes, back 7 years ago, at the very first Assembly in San Diego, it was a little rough around the edges; it’s run entirely by volunteers who had to feel their way through creating a new thing. We started to hit our stride later in 2014, and have had truly excellent Assemblies. We just had our 82nd, almost all of which are available on our You Tube channel. As to why there aren’t more, my understanding is there 30-40 around the world, and it’s reliant on volunteers and donations. Each one in the United States is a nonprofit, and the money goes to holding Assemblies and events and helping out in our local community. During COVID, because of our recurring donors during the shutdown, San Diego’s Assembly was able to provide blankets and hand sanitizer and food to the homeless here, and also to provide a matching grant to raise funds for our local food bank and a fund that helps prevent evictions. We were so lucky to be able to help out in this way, in this secular way, and we owe it all to the folks who enjoy our Assemblies and find them enriching. We “passed the hat” in the very early days like the one you watched, but then stopped and now only mention recurring donations quickly. :-)

The second cannabis speaker said you can't get high from eating raw cannabis flowers. That has not been my experience. And I've read online many others have also felt high from eating raw cannabis. Did anyone ask about this in the Q&A?

The Atheist Church ? and on Sundays?? Doesn't anyone know anything about the spiritual authority of Rome??? Sunday worship is Rome's and she serves Lucifer through the sun worship system. Sunday worship is the Mark of her ecclesiastical authority!!! Sunday worship is the mark of the beast (in spirit). Sunday Law will usher in the physical Mark of the Beast. You atheists think too much because you think your so smart but NONE of you know this. Atheists don't research enough to conclude what Atheists believe. Americans recognize The Creator as it was written in the Constitution that WE THE PEOPLE are endowed with inalienable rights by (our, mankind) The Creator. Talk about backwards thinking for a group like you who take so much pride in your thinking! Therefor you atheists are cannon fodder Time for Israel to wake up. Great band/speakers. Hire on some audio guys so the message/music is better heard for future assemblies.
