There are so many different knots. I'll have to give this a shot next time I spool up 👍

Hey Peter... I def hear ya... I also have arthritis in my hands, but I find once you do this knot a few times its super easy and best of all you limit the elements affecting how you retie if your out on the water. Plus, this is the strongest line to line connection you can have without a tool or tying the PR knot... My opinion of course. What knots do you prefer with the pain in your hands?

I tie my knot almost exactly like this but the uni knot at the end always comes untied.

How many wraps do you use for the knot? there's a few things you can do to avoid this, you can tie more wraps and really cinch the knot down or you can tie the uni over the mono, then burn the end of the mono to blob it so the wraps can't unwrap... I don't prefer this method though, bc I don't trust myself to burn the end of the knot without burning the actual knot... A lot of my friends use the burning method though and it works, I just don't like it. haha fishing is all about preferences... let me know if you have any questions... thank you.

I usually do 7 wraps with the uni

@@joshfranklin7741 yeahhhh 7 wraps should be just fine... I usually do seven myself... Hopefully the knot starts working out for you!! Try the burning at the end and see if that works better for you... That works for a lot of people I know, but, again, def not my preferred method.
