i use surgeons loops on the weight for this exact reason

@@Johnnyfishalot i fish on a boat out of Leonardo and with all the high structure, if you don't have a weak knot on bottom, you loose everything

@Scott-ji2tu yeah 100% hear ya there... I fish similar high sticky structure and yeah surgeon's loop knot is worth its weight in gold there!

Smart to use a weaker knot so you don't sacrifice your whole rig. I never thought of that. I like it.
