After 15 years, my driver side low beam went out. Your video inspired me to replace it myself. Replaced both side's low beams. However, I was able to do it by only taking the top of the air filter box off on the driver side. I lost a little skin and I should have taken the whole box off like you showed. I wound up dropping both light bulb covers and it was a booger bear to fish them out.

That's funny. Tha'ts how I tried to do it the first time and then I discovered it was way easier to just take a minute and remove the air box. lol. So you are not alone! Glad you got it done and thanks for watching.

Is this alternator from this video considered a side plug or back plug on the alternator to take it off?

I am not sure. I would just take a picture of your current alternator and make sure it matches up with whatever you buy. That's what I did. Best of luck with it.

Glad it helped. It should be exactly the same. This is a good time to consider changing bulbs if they need it because you have to remove the bumper cover to do it .Anyway, best of luck with that. Thanks for watching.

@@lastmoto777 I finished the job yesterday. My wife had hit a barrel in the road, and the cover was broken, along with tearing out the inner wheel well on the pass. side. I had the old cover off in just a few minutes. What took a long time was removing the grills from the old cover, and installing them on the new cover-a million different clips! I had lots of the various push-type connectors for the inner wheel well, and the lower portion of the cover under the car, so that went well. All in all, it took me about 4 hours to have the old cover off, and repair the front of the car with a new wheel well and cover. Having the front of the car up on ramps made accessing the underside much easier,too.

The shop was going to charge me $215 just for the part and $90 for labor. I can get an OEM quality part for $105 and do it myself in like 5 mins. Thank you for this video

hello i have 08 chevy malibu and the 8mm bolt bracket that holds the purge valve is very tight and is like a 13 mm bolt, is there anyway we can change the part without taking off the bolt that holds that bracket?

i just did mine, was not as easy as you showed, now granted I have arthritus and carpal tunnel, but you made it look like it could be done with 2 fingers, i had an extremely difficult time getting the locking clips on my new ones to move at all, when they finally did move, one side of the clip came out and the other side twisted around on the inside, had to get needle nose pliers and get everything back where it belonged, than had to start over again, it did it 3 times before i was able to keep everything together and get the locking clips to move, all 4 ends were like that, i even used a drop of 3 in 1 oil to see if that would help, nope, finally got them on, now to hope the locking clips went into their proper place.

@@moorememoriesvideo7070 No Bass, very distorted. Once I hooked up the blue wire and had the jacks in the right place, it sounds awesome now.

I have what appears to be vacuum lines, blocking my pump from coming out. They literally go across in front of the pump and are so tight to the pump. The pump will not come off the posts. Any suggestions? Obviously, just remove the vacuum lines, but, trying to do this without taking apart too much
