Rechecked storage place recently many boxes of old 78's 45's long playing discs,tapes,cassettes, etc..Yup did find Kay Starr...from way back when lead she be the tops of the tops...Yup all in fine condition...brought a few home just for old time memories. Radio recordings on tape which I would stay up late digging and recording sounds from radio stations from Los Angeles(Hollywood) San Diego, to gigs from far away Oklahoma..Ah those were the days..with me they never end..Been digging music since the late 30's...living near Hollywood's night clubs and juke joints I dig the tunes of them thar days...and a few new of now days...depending on the artists of fine music..

Well I first heard Kay Starr on a Denver radio station ,from then on I have kept on hearing Kat Starr and to find this and other pieces of Kay Starr is for me and absolute delight .. Side note: I have visited and toured Capital Record Company in Hollywood. A stack of records the building be..first visit 1957, while stationed at Camp Pendleton Marine Corps base. Kay Starr,Ella Fitzgerald,Peggy Lee,Anita O'day...to this day favorites of all time..KJazz 88.1 Long Beach,Cal. they be spinning theses wonderful entertainers ,among other jazz greats.. Dig it man! ...KJazz and Blues 88.1 FM...Adios Jazz Amigos y Amigas! (April,2024)..

Beautiful voice. Wonderful person. Still so sad that he died at just 77 in 2006 auto accident with his wife and grandchild. ❤❤❤❤
