Gar a a awesome fish God made them for a reason, iron sharpens iron without gar your bass wouldn’t have another fish culling it, and the quality of bass you would Catch would start to diminish.

you should try using a deep sea electric fishing reel to reel them in. makes easy work of big sharks as they get no rest

Why catch them..there as good as any other fish. It takes them a lot of years to get this big...thats why animals and fish are going extinct..
