100% agree, I just realized that Mario updated his favorite way to tackle ED and it's crazy! Although what he previously talked about was pretty decent, it was difficult to follow, I just go'ogled the latest by Mario Volpstein, it's so much simpler and potent now!

How do you switch settings? Do you have to shadow someone or just apply for the new setting position.

I fail to understand why you felt the need to read the the text journal, then give your own interpretation strange one. Your natural interpretation was fine.

Hello Lexi, thank you so much for your words of wisdom! I am grateful that I watched this video and it gives me the courage to face my fear of taking the NBCOT to become a COTA! I know that even up until I am certified, there is the stress of finding a new job and jumping right in as a licensed COTA. One step at a time though !! thank you again!

We all owe a debt from the most high God for our sin and that is death and death leads to hell(Romans 6:23). So we all deserve hell for our sin. The only way to heaven is to be perfect and nobody on this earth is perfect, but 2,000 years ago Jesus Christ came down from heaven in human form lived to perfection and died for our sins, took the keys of death and rose again to show that he defeated the grave so when he died for us he took the sins of the whole world into himself so that we can be made clean (2 Corinthians 5:21), if we accept him as our savior we can be made clean, whole, new, born again, and redeemed, we must repent from our sin and turn to Jesus.

hi! sorry to hear that your friend passed away! i hope you can heal! I just found your page, and I am happy to see your videos so question to ask: how to get into OT school and how to stay in and pass all the test and quizzes in OT school! how do you get into OT school? what is it like staying in and studying for all your test and quizzes? because i want to do something for masters, ( i am a BA in Psychology student online) and I already flunked out of two different ( FOur year schools) I am currently trying to get by bachelor's degree for my third attempt! its really hard and i am doing it online, and i am trying to make it so that I can get into grad school! what are some tips of getting good grades in undergrad so I can get into graduate school? i am really nervous that I am not going to get a BS degre with a 3.0 gpa! i really want to get a masters, but I have a lot of options!! OT is one of them and I am scared i wont get into GRADUATE school!! any tips or advice from a OT school graduate ?! :)

thank you so much for this video! my main concern of OT (OT and OTA) is ADLS i feel like (bathing, dressing, toileting,) is gross to me, but I am trying to find a way to get assimilated to it and get used tp it! i want to work with Peds, but if i cant find a job with peds then i need to get used to adults and geriatrics

hi! just found your video! I am looking through all the OT, PT, and SLP videos on KZbin! What is it like working in peds? i had a job working with disabled children and i loved it! i also had a job with the elderly and i loved that as well! I have a few questions to ask you! what's the main different between peds , adults, and geriatrics?! what's the work like working for each of those settings > and also my main setback on OT is ADLS, what is it like doing ADLS ( bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting with peds then adults? i feel grossed out when thinking and hearing about ADLS, but if it different in peds ( Than ADLS with adults and geriatrics ) then maybe i might not be grossed out or uncomfortable. please give some tips i have been looking at KZbin videos for a while now Also HAPPY NEW YEAR , i think when you see this comment it will be 2024!!

Congratulations! I’m curious though. Shouldn’t your schools have prepared you all to pass the certification soon after graduation? Isn’t it as much a reflection on them and their program if you can’t pass on your first attempt immediately after you graduate?

Not at all. School can provide all the resources, but if a student doesn't study on their own time, it's useless.

I hope you start posting again! This video is spot on, OT school is definitely like a charcuterie board of EVERYTHING OT (stated very loosely). You literally learn EVERYTHING on the job and from continuing ed. You’ll leave OT school knowing something about lots of things OT but more than likely not be a MASTER of any of it until you practice.

Hi, I just accepted into OT school at Florida A&M University and I'll be starting in August. Im stirring up a lot of anxiety about going, but these are just irrational thoughts that are just scary to me. If I apply myself i'll do just fine! I recently subscribed to your channel, and just listening to the terminology you use is foreign but I know i'll learn it during school. Listening to the way you bring up different settings, topics etc. within the OT profession is comforting, so thank you! I look forward to watching more of your videos!
