I have that wreath and, I don’t like the version with the large bow. I will be tearing it apart and, doing the second version. The newer version with the single red candle is much nicer.

I built it in June with my mom it’s been sat waiting at hers for Xmas to go on her windowsill we all can’t wait. It’s a great build. We have also just finished titanic it took us 6 months due to other builds and work commitments. But wow it’s impressive. That also stored at their house until we find an appropriate shelf 😂

I preface this by saying I am not Jewish so apologies if I am wrong but the spinner in the princess calendar reminded me of pictures I have seen of a Hanukkah dreidel. I also noticed that usually there was a new princess every three days. So one day, princess, next day environment (stand/castle), and third day accessories or pet. I wondered if Lego designed this advent calendar to be more inclusive for those that don’t celebrate Christmas but Hanukkah instead. Rather than open up one door a day for 24 days you could open up 3 doors a day for the eight days of Hanukkah.

Why do people filming these events never credit the creators, beyond rude.

During the Christmas holiday those didn't go home stayed at Hogwarts with Dumbledore & Christmas crackers were mentioned a lot, including Harry getting his own wizards chess Dumbledore get a silly hat etc

Ravenclaw girl is Cho Chang, Hufflepuff girl is Amelia Bones The so-called statues actually have a color on the bottom and you supposed to put the plate on top of the lion (red), badger(yellow,)eagle (blue)and snake (green)

Other useful tools: In the U.S., Dollar Tree sells large plastic serving plates for $1.25 that can fit an entire small set's worth of pieces on. Helps me build while I'm sitting in my recliner watching t.v. A plastic cup is useful when disassembling sets - put each piece in the cup, then you can pour the whole thing into a plastic bag for storage. Finally, a large plastic bag is useful for when you need to take off studs or tiles that tend to fly off at high speed. Stick the lego model and your hands into the bag, pop the pieces off, and the bag will catch them.
