Konami made so many games on NES that they had another branch created just to publish more of them at the same time due to Nintendo being so strict with the number of releases they allowed each developer. That's why "Ultra" exists. Ultra is basically Konami.

Jaleco has been re-releaseing thier Famicom and NES games on Nintendo Switch via a new "Jalecolle" label and during one of thier streams mentioned "expect some surprises" wouldn't suprise me if they're just sitting on the Booby the dog Rom waiting to release it under the Jalecolle label, I'm grateful the Jalecolle label exists too because I doubt we'd see Hidden Gems like Pizza Pop (announced to be coming) come to switch otherwise

Rare was hit and miss back in the days. They had some solid bangers. Jet Pack was a hit in the UK and I personally love it myself. The made a game that was groundbreaking in looking 3D from an isometric view. R. C. Pro Am is one of my favorite NES games as well. But ofc they had their share of bad games. They made games for LJN. ‘Nuff said
