That’s way too much thread maker. So much for trying not to get it in the engine. In addition to that, you should’ve made a disclaimer about the brake cleaner. It shouldn’t be strayed straight onto the gear and into the oil pan. That’ll make some good mayo. Thanks for your vid and your help to others.

Great video , I resealead major timing cover oil leak on a 2006 ford focus , crap didnt start , had to waste time , to read almost whole manual on ALLDATA , to go over this whole process , just to time crank pulley , and crank sensor ( for me was the first time that type of engine ) , I din't have timing tools at that time . 3 months later , cylinder heads on 2014 ford escape , same engine type system , at that time i had all timing tools . Thanks bro ! 👍 Great video , i wish i had found this video back then .

Is that the only location for install? My evo has it setup with fuel hanger
@addpsiАй бұрын
This is the ideal spot for installation as the Mazdaspeed / Focus fuel pumps would need more parts / modifications to adapt a sensor on the hanger itself. These cars only have the ability to monitor the ethanol content, no ability to integrate flex fuel at this time like you can with the evo.

How much power do you think you gained ?
@addpsi3 ай бұрын
Ultimately depends on the conditions, the stock intercooler would heat soak so quickly that when you continue to drive the car hard you would see less and less power after each pull due to the insane charge temps. This CVF unit keeps our charge temps right around ambient even during 100+ degree days and consistent pulls, it doesn't offer a major increase in power, but it allows you to make peak power much more consistently.
