Great video. I’m a reseller on Etsy and you validated a few things that I do and am trying to change. Number one is buying something because it’s a good deal but it really doesn’t excite me to do the work to list it. It then just sits. I have storage space issues, so this is something I’m working hard on. Now I hold the item before buying and ask myself “does this piece excite me enough that I’d want to go home and list it NOW? If the answer is no, it’s likely not being purchased. I also feel guilty getting rid of items that I’m not listing or need work, etc. I’m getting better about donating them. I also give some of my reseller friends items if they want them. Thanks again!

So did you end up getting the blue guys on canvas at 4:09? Cuz that was mine too! I was also very recently at Monticello looking for gifts and found a couple great pieces for my shop. I saw a lot of the things you pointed out! We're so lucky in our area with all the great thrifting and vintage.

I had that wooden owl thing before! Mine was actually a napkin/mail holder with an owl attached on either side of the flat wood piece. I think the one you saw was missing an owl on the other side - looks like it broke off or came unglued.

I love the leather case and the candlesticks that were 12.00 each. Wonderful pottery too. The sculpture of the Goddess and the painting look like it could have been the same artist. The gold Italian scones were great too.
