these great old comedies that made fun of issues that today wouldn't be in a comedy cos it would upset the woke community

If by Making Fun of Issues you mean the casual racism/sexism/homophobia, we've rightly moved on from that as a society 😅

Why the he'll have you reversed the vision on all this series? Does this mean they are pirated. They are sure poor quality!

If you can't show them the correct way round don't bother at all

I adored this when I was a lot younger. As I've got older it's brilliance and relevance remain with me. The final minute of the 3rd series here is especially haunting nowadays. He's gone full circle, back where he never wanted to be again. As he folds his arms closes his eyes and smiles that hollow smile, you know he won't be faking it this time. Reggie Perrin Rules OK

THEY WOULDN'T GET AWAY WITH SAYING RAVING POOF ON TV NOW
@lefunk228 ай бұрын
Ummm, thanks for SHOUTING AT US. Anyway, "poof" is a pretty archaic slang word now anyway. No one under a certain age uses that slur, not because of "P.C. nonsense" but because they just don't know that label or haven't grown up hearing it used.

Season 3 should have been the last half of this episode. Reggie ending up back where he was in Season 1 after Grot failed, only with CJ's Brother as the new firm boss and CJ as his immediate boss, but obviously with changes to his new life and a different storyline, it would have been really funny two CJs bothering him all the time. This Episode is the only good one of Season 3 and it's because it persists with Seasons 1&2 and fits and works so well, the rest of Season 3's episodes are rather dull. Wasted opportunity really.
