The only problem with the current crop of prism sights is the floating reticle. It's so small it tends to disappear in the target. Give us legit crosshairs with the nova reticle please.

Ive been running a franklin BFS3 on my .300blk build for a couple years now. With some dedication on the range, the control is as good as the shooter allows it to be. Super stoked to see how that training translates on the GS173.

I have astigmatism and bought this to replace all my red dots. I use it as a red dot. My eyes are too old to make out the reticle. I suppose I could add a magnifier but then we're getting into LVPO cost and territory.

@ARFCOMReviews I currently own and use the Blade and Trihawk along with 2 Swampfox reflex sights on other firearmsi own. My experience with the products has been 5 stars! Everyone who uses my rifles with the prism scopes installed, raves about them. Im a fan of the green reticle versions. I definitely recommend putting your hands on a Swampfox Blade or Trihawk to try out and maybe post a video of.

The problem with mine is its a hunting 870 so the pump covers the shell ehection port almost entirely, really need to get a different pump grip if im able because id rather modify mine for better home defense than hunting. At that point it probably would just be better to get a new one since modifications might be super expensive anyway

The magpul pumps are cheap and relatively easy to swap out without doing any permanent modifications 😊

Been trying to get warranty since OCTOBER 2024. INSTEAD I SUGGEST VORTEX SPITFIRE 1X PRISM. At least vortex has decent customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Century has had heat treating issues in most all past models (receiver harder than bolt and carrier) which causes premature deformation of the bolt and carrier and loss of headspace. I would avoid as a first purchase until the data comes out from long term testing.

If that is the case then I would agree 👍

Vortex customer service is insane. I called the customer service number, pressed one number after the initial option and spoke with a human being on the other line without wait. Might be anecdotal, but it surprised the crap out of me. I called regarding which fastener to use with the echelon- basically, I just used the one that came with it on the picatinny mount.

@ARFCOMReviews 1: an AES-10B with a gas block tipped off about 10 degrees right. That rifle also frequently refused to extract. Contacted customer service and was told it was my problem. 2: a FAL sporter with a barrel AND gas block indexed crooked. Again contacted customer service and was told the 1 year warranty had expired while the rifle was still in their warehouse. I had bought it new the previous week. The owner of my local gun shop where i purchased it called them and had a stern conversation. The rifle went back to Century for "repair" and came back worse than before, as well as having pipe wrench scars on the barrel at no extra charge. With sights at full adjustment, the closest to zero it could get was 8 inches high and 10 inches right at 25 yards. At 100 yards the point of impact was in the mext county. The gun shop made sure i never had to see that thing again, and i scraped up some extra cash to upgrade to a DSA Stg58, which was an absolute doll. There is more, but i am typing on a phone... Century is a local company to me. They pay their employees crap, which means two things. 1: they do not attract of keep employees of any skill. 2: their employees are unhappy and indifferent about their jobs. Their garbage reputation accurately reflects the consequences of this.
