I was never told growing up that God loved me. I was told I could pray to Him but not to pray twice about something because God doesn't like to be bugged. I was told children should be seen and not heard several times a day. I heard it so often I honestly thought it was a bible verse. I grew up neglected and physiologically abused. I was in a world of confusion, I was deeply wounded. I left the church and turned to drugs in my teens. God left the 99 and came after me to save me. He delivered me from crack cocaine. He delivered me from meth addiction. As of a year and a half ago he delivered me from weed addiction. He healed my ptsd I was suffering from after my childhood. I can't begin to put into words how grateful I am to be able to show God's love to my children. They have seen me broken and have witnessed God healing me and Him getting all the glory and praise. They hear about God's love daily and that wouldn't of been possible if it wasn't for Him. Thank you my Father, my EVERYTHING 🙌🎚️🕊️🤍🎚️🙌🤍

It is SO important to teach your kids the gospel. It was a very hard time for me growing up but im so glad that my parents taught me about God. I was depressed at age 10 and every night I would talk to God for hours. I almost killed myself because of stress and anxiety. I was addicted to SH. God and FAITH was the only way to get out of that mess. Im now 14 years old and im living for God. My family has grown a stronger bond and im living my dream life. There are many things a father can leave as an inheritance to his family. Faith, love, wisdom, yes, even money. The prior is most important. A man that leaves no inheritance selfishly wasted his life. My father-in-law went to be with Jesus 4 years ago. He left us no money or valuable possessions. While being a hard worker was a strength, financial discipline was a weakness of his. While imperfect as any man, my father-in-law showed what it meant to love and walk with Jesus better than most. He sought to know and live for God not out of obligation but of true heart yearning desire. His personal time with the Lord showed by the way he loved his family and loved on everyone he came in contact with. A simple, humble, blue collar maintenance man but one who showed Christ's love in the greatest way.

This might help the Calvinist parents how to word the Calvinism that Paul Washer continually preaches! Little Johnny, God has predestined the minority of people to be saved and go to heaven forever, and He has predestined the majority of people to be eternally damned and burn in the fires of hell. We have no idea, little Johnny, if God has predestined you to be forever damned or forever saved. We love you, little Johnny, but we accept the fact that God might not love you, and that He may have plans to send you to hell for your future sins. If you do find yourself one day burning in hell because He hasn’t elected to save you, just remember that we will always love you, even if God hates you. Take comfort knowing that we are not like God. We will be in heaven forever only because we were unconditionally chosen for salvation before we were born. That would be the only reason that we won’t be in hell with you if you find yourself there. It won’t be because of anything we did. So also take comfort in knowing that. It may not seem fair, but who are we to judge God? So again, if you find yourself in hell, remember that we will always love you as we forever worship the God who loved us but who hated you, the God who sent His Son to die for us but not for you. Please, we ask, don’t let it bother you-if you find yourself in hell-that we love the God who hated you and showed you no mercy. We must accept the fact that God is sovereign, and He does what He pleases. My dear beloved Calvinist, will you teach that to your children or grandchildren? I suspect that your answer will be “never.” But why not? Why would you ever hide the wonderful “doctrines of grace,” the “Bible truth,” from your own children or grandchildren? TRUTH IN LOVE

Teach kids how to think, not what to think. Unfortunately, parents or grandparents who teach kids and grandkids what to think don’t know how to think, so the cycle will continue. If a kid who’s already been taught that there is a deity hasn’t also been taught the convincing counter-arguments against the claims of the existence of a deity, then the kid is being intellectually abused. Here’s the template: “Little Jonny, some people believe there is a god who made everything and everyone, and here is why they believe that…” (insert info here.) “Now, little Jonny, some people believe there is no god, and here is why they believe that there is no god…” (insert convincing counter arguments here.) Stop indoctrinating kids. Indoctrination is a sure path to non-critical thinking.

They usually feel convicted and keep on truckin holding Jesus’ hand!! But NOT for salvation!!! For discipleship and growth!! It feels lonely to be separated from Him. Who wants that?
