At 18:29, the damn guy just needs to get a divorce already! The child is suffering! At the end, its not that the system played her. She was too desperate trying to get her task done rather than finding ways to be sincere. All her actions have motives and no sincerity. She was always planning and calculative.

I know it sounds cool to get super vindicated and come out as a boss.. but literary speaking, this story would have been better if instead of touring the world, he went to see charlotte. I know they wanted to give her a last smack in the face by rejecting the fact that she wanted to show him that she was worthy of him, and that she liked him. But she did show it, both when he was sick and when she didn't have anything anymore. It would have been cool of him to just let bygones be bygones and go see her at the hospital, like she had before. Sounds like a better story to me.

Olivia is stupid; for them to regret, you have to give them unconditional love and kindness then let them take that love and kindness for granted; once you leave, they'll miss that kindness and regret it. Everything that Olivia did only gave MC and son reasons to stay away from her and live peacefully without any regrets since she never treated them with love and kindess.

@@Ivansielyou know what, another comment pointed out that all wife ever did was calculate and planned but never did anything out of sincerity, and after looking back that comment was right; she never did anything out of the goodness of her heart but just did everything like they were household chores. That mindset of just completing her task without any sincerity set herself up for failure.

Its like the story just swapped the original male and female leads from the stories we get all the time. But of course instead of simping loser they made the fmc a crazy hateful bia. Both sides are total trash ppl in this story. Its kinda the marriage for superficial reasons and one develops feelings while the other just remains a heartless piece of trash.

Man roles have switched. I’ll need to finish the rest to see how things go. (Edit) I don’t know how to feel about this one other than the system is quite cruel. A lot of the times in these stories the system would force the main character to become a simp for the target. A lot of the times it ends in heart ache for the main character. As for Olivia’s case she treated the situation more like a target and not someone she legitimately fell in love with. Either way this story is rather depressing in a different way from many of the others.

Yeah she is basically trying to wish problems into existence but if he did have a thing for Fiona at one point even if she's a child specialist I'm sure there's plenty of others he could've consulted someone else and not caused more troubles with his wife. I can't always rip on only the bad female character in the story I have to be fair 😂

Another story with pitful Ex. Different people have different perspective and understanding. What i saw was a Top studious student who probably has difficulties to understand Human emotions and how relationship work and all, only wanting to focus on her study and carrier but then she FINALLY learns and understood how relationship and human emotion works AFTER HER BOYFRIEND [MC] DUMPED HER ONE DAY SUDDENLY, WITH LAME SHIT EXCUSE OVER PHONE MESSAGE. She understand and learned how her indifference action and reaction hurted the one she loved and so now she's trying to mend her mistake, helping MC with work, taking care of him and saving his life and protecting him while endangering her own life but He's not Ok with this and Wants her to stay far away.......... Do i hate MC? NO, I don't hate him (afterall he was genuinely hurt by her action) but i also don't like him. He was a BIG Coward. He Never had proper communication with her or tried to make her understand that her action hurt him (somethings are need to be said, told or explain especially when you are with person who doesn't understand human emotion much). Plus, he even left her suddenly, dumping her that too on phone msg. Sure i can understand his action and reason but i don't like it. He let her be her, indulging her and She continued that not know her indifference is hurting him. Wish we had Julia POV. All i can say, COMMUNICATION IS FUCKING IMPORTANT.

System based tale with vague reward that leaves the ML as a manipulative mastermind or a guy filled with as much revenge as plot armor. I don't mind stories that make me think but with a ML that had a plan too open for enterpretation I just couldn't get a grasp of what our revenge focused character was thinking. Grrr I want to add more system based stories to my list but my favorite cast of Willow and Makoto didn't leave much of an impact to want to listen to this story again. Sad to say it but this is a one read it and be done with it for me.
