I set these up and we never put a quick connect on the case drain all it takes is one thing to hit it and if it disconnects the motor explodes so just remember that dealers most of the time dont tell you because they would love to sell you a 5k motor to put on it
@TheCropCritic4 күн бұрын
These quick couplers you have to unscrew them before they will come apart. Safety features built in them and the price of them showed. But you are correct about regular couplers.

@TheCropCritic good deal just wanted to make sure we have come across a few dealers that dont say anything to customers when they do there on set ups if you ever need any info on them and have trouble finding or getting it feel free to reach out we are a dealer in eastern north carolina and went set 90 % up the exact way you did yours you dnt need the valve

You sir are very correct about timing of nitrogen. That's when she needs it! No sense to fertilize the weeds early on before it's canopy is about full with corn plants. I'd love to know your soil ph around harvest compared to planting. I suffer with low ph here in western SC bc of sandy land

I like to know if y’all get up land cotton payments cause y’all can’t make it on 69 cents cotton. We don’t grow cotton in the middle part of La. and we have a brand new cotton goo that maybe ran 4 years. All cotton farmers where going broke. We now grow sugar cane and that’s where the money at. Thank god we can grow that here are we couldn’t make it on soybeans and corn. So I know what y’all are fighting buddy!! Good luck man.🙋🏼♂️👍
@TheCropCritic26 күн бұрын
There is no government payments for cotton growers. But I will say cotton is what pays the bills for me to play in the grain farming part of it.

How often do you sample,every year ,every other year,and do limit the number of acers per composite sample?
@TheCropCriticАй бұрын
That’s a great question. We sample everything because that’s our baseline road map for next season. Now we line about half the acres if so because of the cost of things now. We pulled one composite for every 10 acres. Each plug we pull about 10 samples in a circle to the the sample.

@andersonbagents2963Ай бұрын
Wasting a lot of money composite sampling. Girds or zones save and make you more money
@TheCropCriticАй бұрын
Not here they don’t. Our land is not set to grid. Nobody grids around here because of it.
@andersonbagents2963Ай бұрын
@ you have big fields compared to the Deep South. We only use the grids or zones to apply our p and lime
@TheCropCriticАй бұрын

Cotton is just more visible of what is left behind other than grain where you can’t see it until later. I promise you would go broke with what’s left behind. There isn’t enough to make a Q tip out of.

If you can have someone watch for the parts houses that go under or move and sell the contents, it helps quite a bit. I bought Hydraulic hose machine and a 90 ton press from a moving NAPA!
