I would love to see OG3 since I started with OG2 on GBA. Kyosuke is my favorite SRW character and it's weird that to me to hear that they don't think there's not much interest in OG. As a western fan, the OG stuff is easier to get into since there's not "shows I've never seen" as the selling point, but at the end of the day, they're made for Japanese fans primarily and they gotta do what's profitable.

I would definitely be down for Kyoukai Senki. I feel bad that it pretty much just came and went and the line struggled. (It's a pretty average show, but I enjoyed the standout parts.)

My weird, older pick would be Cho Kosoku Galvion. I think the robots are cool and the music is awesome. And there's some story potential with how Galvion's world works. Aliens basically banned humans from leaving Earth, but if SRW happens, then we can see how these characters respond to the vast cosmic mecha stuff out there.

nice TOP also Honorable Mention for SRW 4 from Snes It was great for its time, it had so many secret units and pilots, along with hidden items on the map and bosses that were really difficult to beat.

still baffled with K put in #21 Don't let the series lineup deceive you from the fact that this one game has the most brain fart the level design, discrimination balance especially to real robot units and terrain bonuses. Not included the composer did plagiarism to the BGMs

I have 1200 hours in 5, 900 in 6, but can't seem to want to be bothered with more than my 200 in 7... nerfing auto battles was a huge thing for me personally. They also took the hilarious huge numbers back down to d1 numbers.. i didn't like that either. The absurdity of hitting a dude in the face for 43qt damage was pretty great. 6 had major performance issues, but it was good... 5 was better, not gonna try to say it wasn't, but 7....... im not feeling it at all. It's been a year, and I'm still going back to 5 and 6

Loved listening to your history with Pikmin. I love hearing peoples stories about why they love games I also love. A series that means so much to me that I’m dying to see come back the same way you were dying to see pikmin come back is jak and daxter. Just wish the rights to the series would finally be sold to a developer that will do the series justice. A man can dream.

I just started watching this show (it's on tubi) and my goodness the ending song is beautiful but the first episode is great.

Ghouldengo is something you really need to see in-game to appreciate.

The first Basilisk was good anime. The second series boiled down to a teens coming of age and a girl power ninjas. Watch the first Basilisk, ignore the second series.

Most clips shown is from srw v and it’s my fav series out of all srw I’ve played. Currently playing it right now and is on the EVA arc. I’m amazed how they tied the story of different franchise in narrative.

I had to play it on VBA as a tween. Picked it randomly from a list of ROMs. Went with Kyosuke because he had the cooler portrait. Even after beating it didn't bother going for the other protagonist. When I started I had no idea what I was doing or what was going on. I spent a good portion of the game clueless about the story/plot and most of the mechanics, including those about customization. It was indeed very text heavy with little in the way of visual support, so I tuned out and ignored what was being said most of the time, just skipping furiously through trying to get to the next gameplay segment. I had decent fun with it as a kid despite these challenges. I was unaware that this was a whole series and never ended up playing any more of its games. It was okay for what it was but it ultimately didn't hook me.

Vangard Bandits for the PS1, an absolute Mecha gem. Turn based combat with lots of unique units, 3 different story lines. Beast of a game in particular when you consider its on thr OG Playstation.

I mean, they should probably do one last OG as a last hurrah. We're getting close to the one climax to end all climax: Alpha 3 and Keisar Ephes (Yes I know the lack of Ichiro Mizuki hurts, but they can handle that). Just give one last hurrah, and either concentrate on the crossover SRW or reboot OG with the newer original characters, and I'll be good. And I'm patient, I'll wait as long as I can to see the OG Saga reach its conclusion.

I need a good PS1 emulator to play certain games or maybe a console that works well with the ps1 to ps3 I have all the original games but I dont have a console.

Alpha remains my fav of all times and it is a huge turning point for the future of srw games. I have played some classics before this like F and F final as well. 1) skip battle animations.. this is so needed.. 2) animated moves 3) customisation for MC. You can pick a portrait, voice. It seems only F, F final and Alpha had these options. They sadly never bring such customisation options back 4) good storyline with a nice line up of series 5) decent game length, amount of stages The downside I would say it was an extremely easy srw game but nonetheless I had fun and the only srw game I have completed more than 10x Since you mentioned about srpg games. Check out super tokusatsu taisen 2001 if Japanese super heroes such as kamen rider and ultraman are your thing

I played this game years ago on the 3DS and for some reason, I was thinking about it today, and I remembered the final boss push, had to refresh my memory on who I mained.. I think I ignored Melia for 80% of the game, but by the time I got to the really difficult bosses, it became evident I was using her wrong. She completely carried me through the final boss push, once you figure out how to use her properly she’s an absolute monster! One of my favorite playable characters in an RPG ever.
