Vangard Bandits for the PS1, an absolute Mecha gem. Turn based combat with lots of unique units, 3 different story lines. Beast of a game in particular when you consider its on thr OG Playstation.

I could've included Xenosaga of course but I felt the Xeno games taking up 2 entries was already enough. And I considered including 'xeno series' as its own entry but the games are so different in their approaches that it didn't feel right

Honestly, Relayers was a pleasant surprise cause I didn't find out about until a few months ago and it reminds me a lot of Fire Emblem, FF Tactics, and Vandal Hearts.

i played though front mission 3 ,2 times i used to have russian version so most of the story i did not understood but i loved the gameplay. Ialso played cross rays and also older sd gundam game that was in chinese language that i dont undestand but i managed to undestand how stuff works with not knowing the language :D great stategy games. I also tried new dawn ,sad that i did not finished it it was quite alright rpg game. Ialso tried xenoblade x . huge moinsters were awesome but i havent reached mechs part of the game perhaps one day i will return to it .

@@BaoZakeruga same here. Xenogears is still my #1 game of all time and I loved the 2nd disc despite some of the more "visual novel"-like progression that had to take place over cut planned content. Now, if we would ever get the whole series that they planned for this (seeing as Xenogears was to be part 5 of a series of 6 games). Part 2 the Abel era, part 3 was supposed to cover Zeboim era and part 4 was supposed to be the Lacan/Sophia era. All the possibilities!

I could recommend actually both are god games to play one being oy Gundam based while SRW is literally crossovers which what I love to play more cause it's a good mixture of different characters.just my opinion if that helps you I'm sure Bao with going more depth lol

Oh Wow. Front Mission 3. I put so many hours into that one back in 2000. At least well over 100 when you consider I beat both routes. Jacking enemy mechs made for a great mechanic. of course that worked both ways. Couldn't you skill to knock pilots out of Wanzers?

@matthewcorrie3324 I always recommend people start with Original Generations on the PS2. You can start with 30 but I don't recommend it since it was made as a love letter to long time fans and not exactly for newcomers

I REALLY REALLY want to play ReLayer... When it got announced, said that it will also appeared on Steam, i was happy beyond belief because i have no PS4 & PS5. But months later, seems like they annihilate the PC Version..... Super Duper Sad..... Also nowadays, a lot of old games got remastered, hope Xenogears also got this treatment
