Your segment about Dragon Ball Legacy of Goku made me remember a similar game for me.. A ''very mid'' turn-based rpg from an anime that I liked so much as a child and that game is Naruto Path of Ninja on Nintendo DS! Not a terrible game, but when I went back and played it again a few years ago, I struggled to find enjoyment while playing lol

I never even knew Naruto had a turn-based rpg until now. Shame it isn't that great since I would actually wanna try a good one.

Yoooo DBZ legacy of goku was my intro to dragonball overall specifically Legacy 2, Also didn't know digimon world 2 was a dungeon crawler gonna add that to my list
@BaoZakeruga2 жыл бұрын
that's one hell of an introduction to dbz lol. And some aspects of World 2 may not have aged great but it's still most definitely worth trying out.

Some of them aren’t RPG’s, but games that I really loved to play as a child include: Billy Hatcher & The Giant Egg, Lufia Returns, Sonic Battle, Tales of Legendia (my introduction to Tales), and Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga.

I wish I had gotten into the Mario & Luigi rpgs when I was younger. I know how beloved they are.

I honestly believe Symphonia singlehandedly made the 1st big wave of Western Tales fans. GC's library for RPGs wasn't exactly huge, but they had some banger entries Falsebound kicked little me's ass so bad I never touched that game again. Maybe it's time to get my revenge after I finish my gen 3 dex completion with Colosseum/XD
@BaoZakeruga2 жыл бұрын
The GameCube really is an underrated rpg machine. And you should give Falsebound Kingdom another try! I feel once you get over that initial difficulty hump it hooks you

Final Fantasy VIII WOOT! An OST that just brings me back to such a nostalgic state of happiness is the “Breath of Fire III” soundtrack. It just captures a lot of my childhood A few from my childhood that are solely my own, Secret of Evermore, Out of This World, and Faxanadu Lastly, nailed another thumbnail Bao!

Dude, I'm digging this video a lot! You have an excellent voice for videos and well thought-out segments! I'm looking forward to seeing more from you! Minor criticism, though. Don't take this as mean-spirited, I genuinely want to see you grow and flourish (so much so that I'm subbing as we speak). Do make a point of annunciating a little more carefully, there were some points in the video where I was having a hard time understanding. Other than that rather minor detail, I love the thought-provoking subject of the video. I'm very much looking forward to more JRPG content!

I had a PS1, PS2 & PSP, PS3 & PS Vita... and now I just have a PS4. I have yet to get a PS5. Final Fantasy VII (PS1) was my first 'real' JRPG. Good times. Final Fantasy VIII was and is amazing. I never got really into the Tales series. I did play Tales of Abyss on the PS2. I have Zesteria, Berseria, and Vesperia for PS4, but they're in my backlog. I never got into the Battle Network games since I never had Nintendo systems. I'm getting the Legacy Collection version on PS4 when it comes out. I never got into Pokémon either since (again) I never had a Nintendo. I do remember back then, my friends had Pokémon Red & Blue and I remember watching them play during recess.

In top of my list SMT Strange Journey Tactics Ogre let us cling together FFXII Xenogears Persona series SMT series Xenosaga and Xenoblade series Nier / Drakengard series Skies of Arcadia Ys series Valkyria chronicles 1&3 most of the time i find my self back to Atlus games.

I do forget I am, a lot, older than you; so for me it's odd hearing what ppl played as their first jRPG, or that FF8 was their first one! While I was in college, my boyfriend sold MY gamecube: along with _Falsebound Kingdom, Lost Kingdoms and Dinosaur Planet,_ before I finished them. I was in Public School, and we were making fun of Final Fantasy for skipping to 6, & FFX going to FFX-2. Let's see: *Phantasy Star 2* _Genesis_ *Breath of Fire II* _friend's SNES_ *Sonic the Hedgehog 1, X-Men/X-Men 2, Earthworm Jim, Disney's Aladdin* _Genesis_ _Fun Fact:_ first Final Fantasy game was 8, borrowed someone's PS2 to play; first Dragonball game was *Legacy of Goku II* for the GBA
