FINALLY 😊SOMEONE. Thanks so much for this video. Recently got myself in the same dilemma but everywhere I looked people think the idea of cutting the tap is nuts but I figured if anything is durable why not this. Thanks so much.

How do you know the sugar content will be eaten? I did some testing and it only eats like 10 - 20% of the sugar in it in 48 hours in the first ferment.

It seems to be the correct depth to cut each pass is between 6 - 9 mm and no more, so why supply bits with long cutting edges of various lengths, ie. 63mm and not just say a 10mm cutting edge and the rest shank?

thankyou! I fixed my car fridge (mine is a XTM brand not Waeco, very similar in design. Its only 5 years old was gonna throw it out (depressing!). thought i would have one last look. 90 per cent similar to yours but the themistor was in a difference place, was able to pull it out, along with a bit of water that came out of the hole. Tested the thermistor and it is ok, put it back in the hole where it came from and it appears to be working fine. Something to do with the water? Maybe causing a short in the thermistor??? Without your video i would not have attempted the fix it! You have saved me $$$$$$$$$ plus it is my secret beer fridge in the shed !!!!!! thanks heaps. Chris, Coffs Harbour, Australia. I’ve got a XTM fridge as well that is constantly freezing. Did you end up buying a new thermostat etc even though you didn’t use it. I was chasing a model number to buy for mine. Cheers

Hi, Sorry to be late...I was having a nap. Yes, this Dyson has a filter, but it's an "after engine" filter to prevent any particle pollution from the coals or the engine. I myself have a fairly old Dyson DC-05, which also has two filters, one before the engine to be cleaned every 6 months or so, the other is after the engine to prevent carbon particles from the engine. Washable too. I recommend to buy quality filter, not sure Chinese filters are nice. The motor on my old DC-05 has been replaced because of wear, worn brushes and commutator. Since then, I've bought another dc-05 with the worn motor for the garage, a motor doesn't cost much.

I'm impressed with EP, they are solid. But big. I'm considering DSSR20 or the Blue company. Worried about Blue companies support. Bought one from "authorized dealer" and they have been useless in helping trouble shoot problems or setup of features the Blue claims they offer. Thus making those advantages moot. Price of DSSR20 is great. Price of EP is good. Blue is pretty high given the unusable features and additional complexity of bringing in rest of their ecosystem to get those features.

Maybe I got a bad batch, or maybe I just didn't apply it right but it never fully set and still sticks to anything that touches it. I regret using it.

I was going to buy one of these for a motor home. Not any more. Not at all impressed with build quality or the lack of info from the seller. I would rather pay more for a better quality lower ah product. Thanks for the info.

Well presented video - thank you! I had an ANL fuse (Blue Sea Systems) on my 48v LiFePO4 battery solar power system. I just upgraded my battery bank and ordered a Class T fuse + fuse block (for that Class T fuse). This type fuse + a circuit breaker should provide the protection I am looking for. I have a new video on my channel if you want to see my system. Best wishes

very Cool. Can I ask, could these be rotated 90 degrees as a whole module, facing the camera. The reason for this, is if I have 256 of these cells. I'd like to be able to remove and replace one at a time. Is there any technical reason why I can't or shouldn't ? and to confirm, my rotation would be of this whole module around an axis that spans left and right, parallel to the timeline on YT.

Great video, thanks. Gas works poorly in arctic temperatures -10 to -25, so hopefully the BRS is good to use with jetfuel or kerosene (after preheat with some clean alcohol). Winter-gas may work better, but wouldn't rely on it for survival cooking.

What bit did you use to get the rounded edge on the cut? Great vid
@BusedAsNZ
@BusedAsNZ Жыл бұрын
Sorry for the slow reply. Another router bit with a radius cutter and a bearing that runs along the previously cut surface. They come in lots of sizes and I also used a little one to take the sharp edges off all round the benchtop. For the main cut I bought a high quality special long bit, but I also bought a very cheap set of bits that had a load of different ones on the theory if I really like one and find myself using it a lot I will buy a good quality replacement

A bit of a life saver as i bought this unit but somehow lost the manual. The comments here were very helpfull. I plan to install this in the cabin. I want to run the air intake from above the woodstove, and the air exhaust into the bedrooms. That way it will only burn once the woodstove is cooled down, but will still move air to the bedrooms when the stove is hot.

Just a word regarding Blue Sea fuses and fuse blocks: it looks like Blue Sea changed the spacing of the mounting holes on their class-T fuses and they no longer fit "older" Blue Sea class-T fuse blocks. I ordered through amazon and it looks like most of the sellers on there are selling the old Blue Sea Fuse blocks, whilst selling new Blue Sea class-t fuses. I had to cut mine in half, and then make brackets to mount on the sides of the plastic base to reconnect them at the proper spacing. Incredibly annoying when your new to this stuff and there's zero information on this in product details.
