Thank you. About 90% sure. If I didn't already have the MPPT charge controller, I would not be buying one. Im actually working on some better side by side testing so keep an eye out for that video

Looks like your shunts went back together in parallel? They need to be in series. ; - )

Yes, well spotted. Its actually a crazy idea I have for testing my solar charging, if it works you will see a video about it soon (actually even if it doesn't)

Use welding cable my friend. I run the SMBS0 and similar batteries. 24v 300ah pack. (16 pcs of 150ah)

I heard from Dennis this week. He’s expecting the replacement batteries in next weekend. I assume yours are on the same shipment as mine.

Yes, fingers crossed :)

Picked them up today. Woohoo, cant wait to pull them apart

Even just knowing that he’s a real person who was there with your batteries when you arrived is encouraging. I hope for both our sakes that these are good.

Yep. They are different cells, taller, thicker and heavier though not quite as wide. Which is good, likely will be a higher capacity. But also a bit of a pain because none of the stuff I built for the old battery pack will fit and I'm out of copper pipe.

He’s not sent me mine yet. I’m in Hawke’s Bay, so hoping he arranges shipping. Keen to hear how the new ones work.
