Only way you’ll need new bedside fenders is if you go with SVC’s new 4 link setup or if you want tires that are 38+ The setup I have here doesn’t require bedsides. But.. I did upgrade to the new 4 link. It’s definitely the way to go if you want to spend the money! Hope that helps brother. Happy holidays

I love the build and the truck looks awesome, but why did you start with a gen 2 raptor vs say a 15+ f150 5.0 if you’re going to completely redo the suspension and put wide fiberglass on it? I only ask what would be the pros of starting with a raptor as I am looking to build one myself next year

Interior, drive modes, plus the motor in the raptor is more than adequate for the suspension I have a supercharged 5.0 with the welded in buckets and long travel etc and it’s just loud with less interior options and less tech. I bought a 2020, had I known then what I do now, I’d have waited and bought a gen 3 raptor and called it a day.

Thanks Amer! No the stock differential gears are all you need. Unless you go up to size 40 tires then you might want some 4.56's

Nice video, thanks for sharing ! We went there Sunday (December 19, 2021) but sadly the gate was locked. The nice Ranger Lady told us they lock the gate after some rain to avoid people getting stuck in the mud, she also told me to consult the Cleveland's Forest website to check when the gates are open. Also thanks for your recommendation of Gaia and the printed trail guide. Safe travels ! Leo
