Alex has taken his lose out on Sammy. Unfortunately it’s a shame since Sammy has to be one of the great down to earth musicians!! Yes the Early VH was incredible!!! But if I had to respect and count on a great human being l would choose Sammy

Turnin 63 in April. That said, I still think I'm 17, and it's still 1979. It's been a while now, but I can still remember being a very young teen watching Python...and realizing the world might not be such a bad place after all. Thank you is by no means enough to express the honor I've always felt to share the world with M.P. 😎

Shaq had more big competition to deal with. Wilt wouldn't have dominated like he did after the 90s. Not saying who's better, just saying Shaq deserves more respect

I played beach volleyball with Wilt and later sponsored The Santa Barbara Spikers of Wilts Pro Vball league. Gentlemen and genius if you ask me. From the baseline he was at full speed by half-court and able to finish the second half of the court in 3 strides.

Alex made a major mistake leaving mikey and sammy out. Even evh and sammy made up. Dont know why the two brothers ditched mikey so bad. Mikey carried the vh flag proudly and never understood why my fav band would do that to a family member basically a band is a family. Wish evh and mikey had made amends like sammy and eddie did . Alex make amends witu mikey and sammy. We know both of them want to before it is to late . Life is to short

They ditched Mike so his Son could join. Pretty simple.

Don’t understand the comparison; Kareem and Wilt are great NO DOUBT! But they both played the majority of their careers as the only 7’ers on the court and that is a major advantage that the other greats didn’t get; Shaq was a phenom/beast but it’s too hard to compare him to them, IMO only!

@mitchrider33613 күн бұрын
@ with all I’ve read and heard, Sammy was the managing brains behind them. Eddie was the incredible talent and Alex just sit back and went by whatever Eddie said. Sammy is a highly intelligent businessman and did steal the ship!! DLR pretty much did same thing. VH brothers were great musicians but not real direction for business.

:It seems to me that Richard has given more credence to religion, that anyone before, all those that have preceded him in that endeavour…perhaps that what his purpose has been…? Most of the earlier and medieval people attempted to justify religion with mystical stories and pseudo magic, which encouraged speculation and mistrust as being concocted by charlatans and liars, whereas Richard challenged those conclusions and explanations with demands for scientific corroborating evidence…. This has encouraged people to look for ways of augmenting the beliefs, wanted to preserve, with explanations beyond what they had been told by holy men, and scriptures… Such as the function of consciousness and perception and other scientific ventures, and in many cases, they found conclusions that offered explanations, of some reasonable value…?

liked the book and the stories of their close bond. liked the little soliloquies seemingly talking to Ed or David at the end of paragraphs. one thing i was surprised at was even with the numerous mentions of acknowledgments at the end he didn’t include a mention of Mikey.
