how did you do the roof and walls

Thank you, I will be spraying my Express 2500 work van back to a high gloss white. Fixing any minor rust damage along with the prep work.

I’ve seen countless videos from cheaprv living and while some are well done yours is easily the best I’ve come across. Love how you created your bed/couch/storage area. So creative and no clutter. Man I hate clutter 😵‍💫😆. Thanks for sharing !!!

Great for an existing van, but depending on the use case I'd probably go for a longer van over a short one with a storage box like this in order to get more volume for the extra length.

I've been interested in tinting the windshield too, but how do you manage things like your registration sticker, TXDot sticker, etc? we're DFW too, so I'll definitely be calling D&D Tint for a couple of jobs!

Option is to put it in 2 panes, with a zipper or velcro like a tent screen and then it fits perfectly 😊 i did that for my tall roof van

Looks good and I am thinking of a big job using a bed liner paint on my 40' bus conversion. My issue is the longevity of the paint color not fading and the endurance of the paint holding up to the harsh hot sun. So how is your van holding up so far?

I want to replace my tint on the Lincoln, it's far too dark for me and I can't see out of it at night, for privacy I want to use custom fitted VIP curtains instead of the "Limo" tint.

Of all the builds, I like yours the most, it's practical and ticks all the boxes.

I bought a van that had that garbage on it. We just spent a ton of money rebuilding the entire bottom rocker panel all the way around the van. Moisture got behind it and rotted out the metal. No thank you.

I did some investigating on these 2000ish white vans peeling. It turns out that the primer oxides if enough UV light makes it through the paint and it then lets go of the paint. The primer stays stuck but new paint will not adhere well to it. So surfaces with the greatest sun exposure will be the ones to release first. I have one of these vans, 2001 Dodge, I can't see going to bare metal on the whole van but that appears to be the only full fix :( I'll probably just do as they did here though.

I used duct tape, folded over just like the webbing, on the edge then velcro to attach screen to the van. No holes needed.
