The most important part of any home or cabin build is the foundation. You can’t just plunk cinderblocks in mud and lay beams across them. You’ll be jacking up that cabin for the next five years trying to keep it level. So cheap to do it right. Shame.

Put a marble inside the front door and video tape it in two years and prove me wrong.

The middle beam was already 2” above the cinderblock! Sag already visible. Proper footings no matter how you do them are a must! You’ll regret not spending $200 to do it right 3 years from now.

I watched this beginning to end on normal speed. My whole family ended up coming into my room and eventually sitting on the bed watching w me. "A man should be handy" said my sil, "where did he get the money for the property? He must be rich!" said my brother. "Some people have too much time on their hands" said my dad. Like, can't yall just be quiet and let the man build his project? lol. Like, ngl I'm planning to set aside time and money in the future to do a project like this, along with building my own hobby farm. Like wow, what an amazing video. Definitely subscribed.
