The learning curve for DaVinci was WAAAAY too high when I first started editing, then I got about 6 months or so under my belt with Capcut making mediocre videos so I took a shot at DaVinci again. The UI is clearly for professionals, which is fine, but I don't understand why dropping a clip in between two other clips somehow means the two that needs to be pushed forward and back now just...get cut in half??? Some of my shots I didn't realize would get randomly deleted (I'm sure it was me, but let's not pretend it's not incredibly easy to do), transitions NEVER worked as they should, playback lagged 100% of the time without fail, yet Capcut runs smooth as could be with four other editing applications open with projects going, (just testing things out is why I had 4 apps open) and every time I clicked on DaVinci, either my app would freeze, the playback would be so horrendous that I'd end up walking away from my laptop or I'd be frustrated to the point that I went ahead and did an extra 3 mile night run. I'm sure it's a multitude of issues, some of which are me of course, but at this point, I'd rather use Microsoft's garbage ClipChamp before I'd use DaVinci again. I'll stick with Capcut, the UI is way too friendly, easy to use and clean and clear cut, offers just as many effects and transitions/SFX that DaVinci does so, sorry to be 'that guy', but I guess today, I'm that guy.

Comparing potatoes to race car... wow what a review... If you want more views - then compare apples to apples in your review. kthx

You might live in your own world, but in the real world lots people are interested and asked me for this comparison. Understanding whats the gap between a performing HDD and an SSD helps lots of people in deciding what to do depending on their needs. Some HDD are totally usable in gaming and you have an amount of space that simply cannot be obtained by SSDs ;) and by the way I don't care about the views while most people do , I just do it for fun

@fgtechtips6 ай бұрын
3060 you can easily do 1440p, 4k is challenging for most games . 1080p is an obsolete resolution
@MACH1TIPS6 ай бұрын
@@fgtechtips3060 is not a 1440p card and 1080p is the most played on resolution by far. “As of 2023, the most popular desktop display resolution worldwide was 1920x1080. Often termed 1080p, this resolution accounted for over 22 percent of the market. The resolutions 1366x768 and 1366x864 ranked second and third, occupying market shares of around 15 and 10 percent, respectively”

Alimentazione molex? Ma serio??
@fgtechtips6 ай бұрын
@ThomasWinders6 ай бұрын
@fgtechtips6 ай бұрын
@ThomasWinders6 ай бұрын
@fgtechtips6 ай бұрын

Thanks for the info, I have and Asus Pro WS X570-ACE and the OC settings are all over the place, not only do you have ASUS OC settings there is also another section (not in the AI Tweaker section) in my BIOS for "AMD over clocking", I have yet to try them, but I assume I have to enabled the AMD OC settings as despite me setting the core voltage stuff to manual my BIOS isn't allowing me to set any offset voltages as they remain on auto regardless of the manual setting... I don't think ASUS thought out logic of these settings, as changing a setting to manual but the sub-settings remaining on auto without telling you that you have to change settings elsewhere is just plain confusing anyway I managed to easily get/set my all core multiplier to 43.50 (4.35GHz @ ~82.7° ) with the help of your info! Lastly, I just have to say, why do the all the OC auto tuners suck so much (I'm not really into over clocking so I always give the "auto tuners" a try hoping for quick win) , the ASUS BIOS OC Wizard would not boot/locked up my PC at its claimed 8% overclock so I always thought my CPU was a dud. I have tried at least half a dozen of these OC wizards (BIOS and Software based) over the years and they either never complete (crash or lock up the PC and don't resume correctly) or if they do complete/work your lucky if you end up with a reliable 3% boost. My only issue now is that my Ryzen 3900x setup idles at well over 100 watts (109 - 130 watts, I think this was the case before the OC).. I also have a 22 Core Xeon Server setup (work in IT) and it can get down to 140 watts, and that's with 160GB RAM, 2 x PCI-e cards 2TB SSDs , a 10Gig NIC , a dedicated RAID controller and Quadro M2000 GPU.... so this setup's Idle is way too high, my other desktops over the years have always idled at been between 35 - 80 watts... based on the GPU and CPU software power readings is seem its the MB that's "eating" ~40 watt at idle, doesn't seem right so back to the drawing board.
