When people say that stuff it's about the people that actually cropped the ears (assuming it wasn't necessary, if that's ever the case) and not the ones rescuing the dog tho lol

Bloat Can Be Life Threatening ! You always want to leave 45/60 minutes after food for it to go down before high octane exercises. Large deep chested breeds and elderly dogs are more prone to bloat. If your dog gets zoomies or tries to play straight after dinner, crate them. It’s always best to walk and feed after the walk. Don’t forget lack of proper exercise for your dog, will causes so many behaviour problems. So many people don’t know what proper exercise is or get it wrong. This could be why your dogs have problems. Did you know decompression after exercise is also so important. If your dog doesn’t switch off after a walk and still follows you everywhere, you could be asking for anxiety based behaviours down the line, such as separation anxiety and excessive barking. Want to learn more then download the Southend Dog Training App, for help with all the above and many more problems such as reactivity and leash pulling.

My goodness those knees. That dog has seriously messed up hind legs. Out of curiosity I would love to know what is going on with them. I sincerely hope the owner of this dog will look into checking out those knees and getting this dog the help it needs before there is a more serious issue.

Why go straight to a slip lead and not food for a nervous lab? Surely you want to build confidence with positive associations rather then negative tool implementation?
@lisahair6839Күн бұрын
Using the flirt pole totally wrong! Not meant to go in circles 😂 makes it predictable and boring for the dog
This is reactive?? You should see my dog reacting. Standing on hind legs barking and growling. Yes he is reactive and not aggressive.

I’ve met so any men like this. Will have a big mouth, when talking to women but say nothing of there’s a man out with their dog. Just for the record, the misogynists that I’ve met have been from a variety of cultures.

I’m sorry, but if my elderly, chocolate Labrador, doggess wants to go to her favourite cafe or restaurant, she’s not budging, (unless I already have a cheese croissant in my pocket), whatever I or the other dogs are doing. She’s become quite stubborn in her old age. 😂 Shall give this a try though.

Could be wrong but it looks like a slip lead is being used. I'm not a professional dog trainer but I have close friends that breed Corsos, Presas, Rottweilers and other large dogs most of which are above 120 pounds. Slip leads don't do much for them but cut oxygen and cause skin irritation. Prong collars tend to be far more effective on those larger breeds and breeds that have a high pain tolerance.

If you plant a foot infront of the dog when you stop, you’ll have a more relaxed dog. This teaches him that you’re the leader of the pack and he doesn’t have to worry

I have a six month old border Collie mix that i adopted seven weeks ago. My problem is that I got her with no prior training and im starting from scratch. I have tried all the techniques i learned on KZbin but she is stubborn. Im so frustrated with the biting that I've signed her up for obedience classes. I hope it helps.

I always have big dogs. I think if you have a huge strong and stubborn dog only pop the leash is not enough to make them walk. You need to show you have more strenth than them and that's how my athritis developed.
@nict47843 күн бұрын
Probably how your dog’s arthritis developed or will develop too…. 🤷🏼
@carolshang2 күн бұрын
@nict4784 I do have dogs who have athritis but never one related to their spine. But your comment answered a question I was always wondering : why so many people prefer harness even if it creats so many dogs that are out of control.
@KO-zi2xf3 күн бұрын
Are we ever using a leash pop correction here to break the fixation?
@carolshang3 күн бұрын
If it works why not? The problems with strong dogs is that popping doesn't always work because they dont take it seriously.

He keeps saying “get the dog away from me”, but then steps up to the dog invading its space & squares up to the woman holding its lead. It looked more like he was trying to provoke the dog into reacting to him. At least the larger dog, I think it was a Chow, didn’t give him the satisfaction & backed up. What a dispicable, cowardly individual.

I went to a well established trainer after 2 years of consistently training my very lovely, very excitable and happy working cocker spaniel. She knows how to heel off lead and knows how to heel on the lead, but given an exciting environment i.e anywhere with lots of people/childen she would try and sprint everywhere. I tried every tool possible and my trainer affirmed this was the one for my dog and it instantly helped her listen. It was no longer stressing her out and i wasnt having to appy hardly any pressure. It was transformative and i can take her anywhere now and she gets to enjoy so much more, shes not straining or panting but is happier and more relaxed. I knew it was better for her in every way and safer. Yet my vet still shamed me for it (even said she had seen an autopsy on a dog where one was used but surely that was a case of abuse in thr first place) when we turned up for her annual vaccinations. Even though she admitted she was such a happy loving dog. A super clever people adoring dog. Yet vets still make you feel bad 😢

In the Muslim faith..Dogs are considered unclean..Im just guessing..The guy feels attacked because the dog is too close to him and its considered unclean and unholy.Just a guess.He might be muslim..But to someone who is not muslim and has no idea..would just see this as an overreaction..Its a belief issue..The guy is not okay with the dog..Either way..Therefore is upset..It can also be that he was attacked as a kid and has some trauma issue and being triggered and blowing up instantly..But as for leashes? He is correct..There is a law to keep your dog under control at all times and keep your dog on a leash in publik spaces..The dog is invading his personal space..What we saw on the video..Is only one side of the story..We dont know what happened before they recorded..Than another woman with a dog escalates the situation with her dog..
@mohammadalmheiri15074 күн бұрын
The guy has 2 chihuahuas and dogs in Islam Is more complicated than just being unclean, he is just fighting people because he is an insecure little bitch. He once tried fighting Me but I have a Doberman so him and his wife literally ran away leaving their dogs behind. I was his neighbor this man has abused other animals just because he thinks it's okay to let his own dogs be aggressive including towards children. I used to be his neighbor and he dosent deserve anyone's understanding for real.
