Hey, I actually thought that this song went really well with the beer that you described (haven't tasted it myself!) - sweet but cool, and a lot of things going on under that surface. :) Props for being really attentive as viewer-reactors! You picked up on numerous important points - from the unique, progressive groove, to the "Swan Lake" moment, to Miyako going from the piano solo to guitar solo within 2 seconds (barely enough to stand up!), to Miho's usually underappreciated bass-lines, which are infinitely creative in many cases, but here they just legitimately drive the song, and mimic the guitars on every bend and curve. Plus, a very satisfying deep sound picture for this one, emphasizing the low end over which the weeping guitars and Asami's wintry lyrics can glide. Good job! You said something to the effect, what else can Miyako play, and the simple answer is - almost everything she touches. But by the maxim "show, don't tell" - you should watch, for a change, an extremely fun song of theirs, called "Spellbound". LOVEBITES do not play it often, oh but they should! It is a total throwback to the days of our youth, the band is having more lighthearted interactions than their usual norm... and you can secretly write down your guess just WHAT Miyako will play, and surely solo on, this time. :))) She IS the Golden Touch!

This whole concert is on youtube, and i think they started with this track because of the eyes wide shut intro. The sound was off in the first two songs. That's why it doesn't sound crisp.

Although one of their older songs (3 years) it's pure class. Cute, chaos, metal. I get Pantera vibes from this track. I'm at least listening to it once a day. Fuckin great. HA-NAB-E-A in our tongue. A proper grass roots, friends in school forming a band, band, which I appreciate and resonate with far more than the likes of Baby Metal. Japanese metal has been producing some fuckin awesomemeness. Great video! You guys definitely need to check out the live version that the girls recorded in their MTV VMA awards show. I don't know how they do it, but these amazing women nail it in their live performances. I don't think I've seen a bad one yet.

For context, India has a much larger problem with religion controlling politics than most nations. It's something you see all over the world but in India there is a real issue of non Hindus struggling for any say in politics often. I'm not Indian so I don't have the whole picture but I know a lot of Indians and this song may be applicable in a sense all over, it's very specifically about some serious issues India needs to get over before they can become a fully developed nation.
