They have a couple of (mainly older) tracks with auto-tune, but the they don't overuse the effect. Hana also sung some parts without it in this track (she has a switch to toggle it). I have never been a huge fan of auto-tune and vocoders either (even since Cher's "Believe" in the late 1990's), but I am ok with the way they use the effect for some reason and I actualyl think it works for the track. I think mainly because they use it sporadically and don't try to hide it, Gacharic Spin have shown me that it can be used in a way that I can enjoy. Their live sets typically have a lot of energy and are a blast to watch. They used think themselves of and entertainment group and not necessarily as musicians, they also love to let the crowd jump and move with them.

Glad you enjoyed it, and recognised the vocal effects as just that, an effect They are well known as an excellent live band, if you want to see a really crazy live song watch "Hunting Summer" - there's a version from 2016 with an older iteration of the band, or a version from 2019 with the current iteration

The 2016 versions of Hunting Summer and Ganbanba Dancer are among my favourite GS videos. Their music by itself was very hit-or-miss for me because how much they change styles and because the more electronic influences in their earlier tracks, which is not always my thing, but I have grown to enjoy or love the majority of their discography mainly because of their live performances. I also have a soft spot for performances where Nenne get's to shine, I probably like the current lineup the most but the one with Nenne and Mai are a close second.

@@professorandknowitall There are a lot of different versions of both tracks, so I will put the names and channels down for the ones I personally prefer (but it's obviously up to you). I don't now for sure which one R-Tunes has in mind for Hunting Summer, but this is my favourite version "ハンティングサマー(Hunting Summer) / Gacharic Spin" (from the Bose channel). I believe R-Tunes might have requested that one in the past as well. For Ganbanba Dancer "Ganbanba Dancer(ガンバンバダンサー) (Live) - Gacharic Spin" (from the K介 channel). The biggest problem with both videos is that they come from old DVD releases and the rips/video quality is pretty poor unfortunately. I personally think it's clear enough what is happening, but I guess that's the upside for the newer 2019 and newer released. The 2019 ones come from their 10th anniversary Blu-ray and the newer ones come from livestreamed concerts. The good thing about Gacharic Spin performances is that almost all of the versions have their upsides and own quircks, but the 2 I have put above have pretty unique parts (especially Hunting Summer).
