why not use the adhesive you used on the yoke for the back instead of tape?

Hi, what a great idea, thanks for sharing! I'm a bit confused about the 3 legs... could you explain that part a bit more? Or show a close-up of the assembled? Happy holidays from Montreal!

That's nicer than mine. I tell people all the time. Get an older table saw and upgrade parts. The base is better than anything you buy today without spending a ton. Mine has the outfeed motor. I cleaned it up. Bought a new motor. You can upgrade to 2 and 3hp. Then I bought a new fence. The fence is where it's at. I went with the shop fox. It was much cheaper and accurate as anything else if you set it up. Has all the adjustments you need. Then you have more money for other tools. The delta cabinet saw will cost you a good penny but it has the same motor as a table top. These old saws are amazing. They just need some upgrades.

I think this is the cleanest looking and strongest design but I would've installed power plus vertically adjustable fold down wings. I also would countersink for all the screws then plug sand flush for a cleaner look and don't forget to soften all the sharp edges.

Great video! Would a straight pipe work as well or an elbow is necessary? Also does a 5 gal 10 amp shop vac work with this system or something more powerful would be needed with the cyclone bucket between the vac and the saw? This vac works reasonably well when hooked directly to the saw but I am wondering if the suction would be affected after installing this type of bucket. Thanks!

So what does this do? Keep dust out of vacuum?
@afterburner19527 ай бұрын
Basically the same concept as the 2 bucket method with significantly lower capacity. Use this method if you like, except do it in the bottom of the bucket instead of the lid and invert it over another bucket as shown on other sites. Greatly increases capacity and much easier to empty.

You failed the point; you missed the point. Which was to DIY a "CONICAL" shape DIY so you don't lose 50% of efficiency. There has to be a cheap way to duplicate that "thick to thin" conical shape, will keep looking for a simple way to do it. There has to be one.

Hi mate , simplest one I’ve found and looks efficient , good job! I’ve converted an old fridge into a ventilated and soundproof workbench to house my air compressor and shop vac. Just wondering if you lost much pressure from the vacuum with a large bucket ? I have the small Ozito vac , and only have approx 250mm x 500mm to build something similar. My idea is to cut a pvc pipe into quarters (length wise) , and fit the four corners into the rectangular sized box so instead of hitting a wall , it will curve as it would in a regular bucket. Tia👍

Installed these on a riding mower kzbin.infoUgkxetgfkJxfdT_B2vGYP-uNTLaBbim9OKTD . They were sharp out of the box, although I've never liked blade edges that were coated...not quite as sharp as I personally want. Using my belt sander, I removed the coating from the cutting edges and refined the edge enough to shave with them. So far, after three runs, these blades are holding up as expected. Even after hitting a few fallen 1/2 inch or so branches, the edges are still sharp as heck. No edge dings, no warping, etc. As far as installing them, the cutouts were of the proper size and shape to fit my aging Craftsman mower. Very satisfied.

You do have to spend some time setting the saw up... blade, fence, etc. But once done, the saw is great. Fairly compact which is Nice kzbin.infoUgkxXh-4_3-ZT1fFWP91ZV7iVqzElr0lEb-a I did get an Incra Miter Gauge which takes some setup as well. The stock miter gauge can be adjusted in the miter slot with a little painter's tape... this tightens up the side to side play a lot.

This is a pretty solid little workbench. While once you figure out how it comes together, it is physically Easy to assemble kzbin.infoUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh by yourself. But the diagrams explaining the steps are really pretty bad. I could not get the handle pins in all the way despite multiple attempts, so I just used a screw I had on hand for the 2nd handle. I could not get the first pin in further or pull it back out. You are supposed to hammer it in, but I had no leverage and the handle is plastic and I did not want to risk breaking it. I will get a lot of use out of the bench because of the convenient size and height. It does fold up nicely for storage. They even explain how to fold it so you don't get pinched...that is important!
