Excellent vocals. Like a male Amy Whinehouse. Unbelievable. I have watched this so many times ❤

Coming back to this video after a year. I am still so so so impressed by the brain separation for Theo to sing and play the piano part at the same time. Plus that solo is freaking iconic....

My goodness, this is so dang good. I shouldn't be surprised at this point, but learning that this one was recorded live was mind-blowing. It's sooooooooo good.

I think I've listened to this four of five times in the last couple of days. Its just insane. Just the right mix of easy-to-listen-to uncle rock and musical complexity that I imagine world class musicians just can't stop themselves from beinging in ❤🕺 an absolute bop

A hundred years from now, if they ever tell my story, tell them " men rise and fall like the winter wheat, but these names will never die. Tell them I lived in the time of Michael Jackson, the king of pop. Tell them I lived in the time of Theo Katzman one of the greatest Lyricist to ever live." Such profound soul searching words that try to touch the rather elusive truth about humanity.

I was there in Amsterdam, and never before has a live concert made such an impression on me. Beautiful songs, brilliantly performed by the best musicians. What a sound, so dynamic, unprecedented. And as a musician I’d like to say: You guys are true heroes! Thank you for this magic, hopefully you will come back to the Netherlands soon!

It's gone into my top live guitar moments of all time. Up there with Derek Trucks slide solo on stage with BB Kind and John Mayer, and John Mayer's solo with Frank Ocean on SNL. This is maybe my favourite ever.
@rowegardner9673Ай бұрын
@@DaraMunnis those are also great solos for sure! Derek Trucks’ solos on “Anyday” from Crossroads back in the day are epic too. This one is a legendary guitar moment for sure though. This band deserves major props.

I saw Prince three times, I saw Paul McCartney, Jamie Lidell, Beck, and a lot of other GOATs. But this concert (in Hamburg/Germny to be precise) is maybe the best concert I have seen in my life. And this is the best sounding live recording ever. I want to work and play with these guys so bad....

dyall notice the venue change at 37:50?!? I sure didn't. nice edit
@DaraMunnisАй бұрын
I was actually able to edit the entire song using audio from one show and video from another. The band are *that* tight. No clicks, no nothing. The tempo drifts by maybe a half a bar over the whole song comparing the two shows.
