PWM is like a person on a swing, lot harder to get going but once swinging only pulse amounts of force to maintain swinging higher. Modulation between pushes. Fyi

Can a 2008 4l60e house a 2007 tcase? They say 2007 and 2008 transmissiins are the only two years these trannys are compatible to these years. I have a Tcase frome my 4l60e without a motor and extra plugs than the 2008 ao i was going to swap my 2007 tcase onto my 2008 transmissiin do you know if that would work

So I have been wanting to do a LS swap for my 1964 buick riviera but after seeing these LT swaps.. hmm. Would love to make its a 5-speed or 6 speed manual but thats just a dream.. I do have a great condition but dissambled 1957 392 hemi I might trade to get me a LT engine from a 2015 escalade thats being offered up locally. Any ideas if this is a good thing to try on my buick riviera?

GM part number 13534127 is the 220 amp alternator from the L8T snow plow version. It should be a direct swap for your 170 amp alternator that you have. It is still 2 wire PWM.

Mil on 1st error. MIL = malfunction indicator lamp. Dash light comes on. I'm not sure that would fix it.

It comes factory with a 4.0 inline 6. Going off that info, it should fit length wise, assuming you have enough room on the side for the turbo and downpipe

Yes I believe Mitch told me once before that he is pretty sure it would package nicely and if so this is the route im going…I’ve wanted to do this for a very long time and now that he is building the wire harness I will purchase everything I can from him and move forward with my dream….Thanks for the commitment!!

One in a Land Rover would be incredible and I feel we need to get these swaps completed as soon as possible because I feel it’s gonna be a very popular engine swap for guys like us so that will drive the prices and availability up on these engines good luck with ur project!!

I am doing a 2016 truck 3.6 auto trans swap into a 58 truck. Have all harnesses and modules including steering wheel, cluster , exhaust, cats and auto shifter/consume. Can I do a stand alone ecm or do I need the bcm and delete the trac control, Traction control and power steering signals to make this project a success?

I just completed a 4.3 v6 to l83 v8 engine swap on a 2015 silverado with a 2016 silverado 5.3. it fires up and runs and everything, but getting a code for the flex fuel sensor. the truck was originally equipped with flex fuel from the factory, the donor engine/harness and ecm were also used from the 2016 5.3 unit. is there a wiring change i need to swap for this?

I have a few questions for you. I have a 2017 Silverado with the 4.3. The engine is on its way out. I have a 2015 5.3 out of a Tahoe and just trying to figure out exactly what I need. I have HP tuners so I can do adjustments and stuff in the computer. Can I reflash my PCM for a V8 or do I need to purchase a V8 PCM?
