Oh, how I wish this gentleman was the head of the Bass department during my 4 years at Berklee! What a fantastic interview!!!

Does Warwick Fortress have short or medium scales? The 34 in scale is a bit too long for me,😢😢😢😢😢😢I own a 2016 Thumbo 5 German . I have to tune to F standard and capo on 2nd fret in order to play more comfortable for me. Looking for this Warwick Fortress, if there no short or medium scales. I have to apply same method to my Thumbo 5😅😅 😅😅😅😅😂❤❤❤

Love his articulate story-telling and dry humor. Thank you both! ETA LOVE the story about him learning how to internalize/recreate the clave/tumbao feel after being fired. So much humble wisdom shared in this interview...🙌🏽😘😁💥

Steve bailey was always one of my biggest influences and favorite bassists. Bought the so low solo album and can say with full certainty that I listened to it more than anyone else in the world, start to finish. Again and again. One of my dreams has been to own or play Steve's signature bass.

Ten Years After was one the Truly Great bands that came out of England in the Late 60,s .The combination of Psychedelic Electric Blues fused with Jazz musings made them a Band that was extremely versatility Alvin Lee’s vocals and lead playing are Criminally Underrated to the 10th degree. They bridged the gap between The Stones and Zeppelin! The Album Stonehenge is Combination Of Tribal Psychedelic Jazz Rock but willing to experiment into Area’s of Mystical Atmospheric ambience. I know most ppl know the band from Their Woodstock performance.But they are one of the most incredible aspects of the Late60’s & Early 70’s psychedelic Scene. Leo Lyons is a great jazz Bassist and perfect compliment to Alvin’s Lightning fast Technique! Now Go Listen to Stonehenge!!!!

I have the complete series, 2 bigs, 4 lows, 4 clubs, 5 highs and more than enough hellborg power amps and preamps to power the cabs. Heck, even use a sp25 as a power amp in my house in a high end audio system. All sounds amazing. I stock these to rent out as backline where i do my job as an audio engineer… best sound to get! Very transparent, open, tight and warm. Audible on ALL levels on all stages. THE system to hear your bass as it really is. Studio quality on high stage levels. Never gets lost and never gets in the way of other band members or a mix!

This 2:47 is exactly what my old 97's Warwick did on a live gig (once), as one of the mountings of pickup gave up, and I had to change for my back-up Yamaha bass

How can we tell the new upgraded version of this bass to the older versions?
@MarkGuerard13 күн бұрын
Meaning when looking on line, what do we look for? Made in 2024?
@FramusWarwickOfficial13 күн бұрын
Hi there, thanks for your question! You can tell them easily apart by the following factors. First, they come with a copper shielded electronics compartment, brass-titanium frets (for the fretted versions) and our article codes for the new models start with “WRB” followed by numbers instead of the former “RBA” (notice that some dealers use their own article codes that do not match ours). If your online shop of choice does not clearly specify these specs or maybe didn't update them since their last delivery from us, you can contact their customer support to make sure before you buy. Hope this was helpful.
