The sad thing is, being a stay at home parent is beneficial for your family, but with no fault divorce, it could be difficult for the stay at home parent if their spouse divorces them. We used to have mom and pop businesses or farms. But we live in a corporate based economy now. There used to not be no fault divorce.

Married 37 years and this is how my wife ran our household also. She taught our kids how to cook, clean, laundry and much more. Fresh baked goods every week home cooked meals. She was a stay at home mom. This is very commendable. Good for you and your family
