Thank you for sharing this video. I’m going on a family trip to Frankfurt this December so I’m hoping to see the Christmas markets there. We have Christmas markets here in the U.K. but I’m excited to see how they compare in Germany (I’m assuming the German ones will be better)!!

We use a Sony a7! We absolutely love it. and we were in Riga on the weekend of December 8th last year! Seemed like there was plenty of snow before we got there too. It’s an awesome city and one of the most charming markets we’ve ever been to! Hope yall enjoy when you go!

Lapland too far away, too expensive, too cold, too boring. Lots of places with nicer landscape and people, lower prices, more fun. Fififi is definitely not worth spending one's time there.

That's a tough one to answer. I think we placed Munich above Nuremburg because they have a lot of different markets throughout the city. Nuremberg would be great for someone that doesn't want to walk or drive around the city to see all the markets.

Thank you, No this is stock drone video. Morocco will confiscate drones on entry and will hold them until you leave.

Rats! I was hoping you had a way around that. I see that you can rent drones while you're there if you have the right insurance etc. I did a trip to Nepal last year and managed to get all the right paperwork in order. Pain in the butt though. :)

Another great video. Question - in either Basel or Zurich did you ever run across restaurants that had actual old Gondola cars set up with tables and chairs inside where you could actually be served in there to eat. I have seen many photos but can find no actual information on them.

We didn't see any of those. They had a few places to sit and eat , but no gondola chairs that we know of.

Great video. So question we too will be in Basel for the 2024 Christmas Markets. I'm wondering about the other side of the river? Did you guys spend anytime over on that side of town. I think I read that there are many, many small quaint Christmassy restaurants and such over there? Just wondering?

We didn't visit those markets, but they do likely have smaller markets around the city.
