I do this for an hour at time to music really fast. . I love it. It's harder for me than swimming. And it helps my ADHD as it's sort of a rocking motion. It really pushes me. I am always trying to explain to people what I do. So it's great to see a video. It gives you really strong thighs calves. And stomach muscles even if they are hidden. They are. I pull in my pelvic floor. And stretch out my feet as planta fascists. It works arms legs back stomach calves thighs. Core. Love it.

I suppose they could, but the muscle outcomes would change in gravity. In submerged resistance, all movement is resisted, targeting muscles on both sides of a joint and resulting in better muscle balance.

Water socks or shoes are needed when you do this every day of the week to protect your feet. Also they do add resistance to aid in the workout

You can buy aqua shoes... they are great to add appropriate support and to protect your feet from developing blisters . Especially during the high intensity "water power" classes.
