With my LWRC M6 DI 16.1" I started out with carbine spring & H1 buffer. Still felt very punchy and ejecting almost 2 o'clock. Switched to the geissele super braided with H1 buffer. Felt amazing, ejection at 3oclock BUT the spent casings were just plopping out the ejection port. While it was perfectly reliable it still had me worried about future problems..... Switched to the sprinco blue with h2 buffer and it was a match made in heaven. Nice, strong 3:30 ejection, great recoil impulse and so far over 1200 rounds has been perfectly reliable.

Should have sold to the US consumers first before selling it to international Red Coats or Korea whom can't even make their own rifles 😅...which I wouldn't even do on principal

Crowfoot wrench has to be perpendicular to the torque wrench for the torque reading to be correct. Also the aeroshell isn’t just for ease of tightening. It helps prevent galling and seizing over the long term due to the dissimilar metals (steel nut / aluminum receiver).

I bought the midwest and the sail was badly clocked. You could see that the flats were mistimed from spline - with the naked eye. They must do it in two set ups or something so I will never trust the tool. IMO using this to barrel an upper is like tightening a nut while holding the washer instead of the bolt, but I'm considering getting one for muzzle devices where I cannot hold the receiver in a clamshell with the handguard mounted. Not sure it's good for anything else.

I'd just get internals from an existing Mod2, and have Marvin Pitts dimple the barrel...have D. Wilson MFG put it all together.

Thank you! I served for many years in the Middle East, and we all were banging and sometimes ruining the retaining pin. None of the instructors or gunsmiths mentioned anything about solutions. Now at age 60 I’m learning to walk again!! Thanks brother ☀️

I got an Anderson AM-15 Utility 16 inch barrel yesterday (Dec. 13th, 2024) and took apart the bolt carrier to do a clean. For 20 minutes, I tried to get the cotter pin back in. Found this video and did it in less than 20 seconds. Thank you very much for this video!
Bro if i ever see you in person i will give u the biggest hug in the world. I spent 5 hours trying to put that thing in and in just 20 seconds i did it with your video. Thanks.

Would it be recommended to maybe degrease the area first? I also saw another video where the gentlemen applied just a little heat using a small torch, his explanation was that it helps to open the pores just about to allow the chemical to penetrate better. Thanks for the video though.

Mine was absolutely junk right outta the box. Quickly sold my 442 UC and bought a Ruger LCRX .357Mag. Took a huge hit on mine, but I had no confidence in it working in a pinch when I needed it most. My advice, ignore the Lipsey versions, stick to the Factory versions. Four things I had issues with right outta the box. First, the rear sight on mine was lose as hell, okay give it a pass there, a little lock tight. Secondly, the cylinders were not chamfered AT ALL like they said in their advertisement, Liars. Number three, the cylinder on the crane when fully opened would protruded past the frame stop allowing the cylinder itself to come off the crane and become locked up on the frame, big one there. At that point I was over the love for my new $700 S&W but it wasn't done with me yet. As I was dry firing mine to check the "NEW AND IMPROVED TRIGGER SYSTEM", Yeah right, I call bullshit there too; my trigger stuck back and I had to manually push it back forward. It did that several times. My advise to anyone buying these POS, make sure you can hold the one you are thinking about buying in you hands and look at all of these points I have mentioned. I'm not shitting you, mine had these problems and I will never order another firearm online again. I have usually had excellent luck with all my S&W purchases and will keep all my other S&W firearms, but these Lipseys POS, HELL NO! Never again. And for anyone who says, Why didn't you send it back? Absolutely laughable. Why should I give my money to um to suffer more downtime without my product. I'd rather get rid of the junk and tell the possible consumer to check it out on the front end. And, just give a look around the forums, I'm sure I'm not the only one, my luck isn't that bad. 😉
