Elden Ring and by extension From Software games in general are some of my most favorite games of all time and I'm playing video games since probably about 25 or 26 years at this point. I platinumed no other games besides Dark Souls 3, Elden Ring and Bloodborne but I just *had* to with them because those games are just something else, so immersive. intrigueing. it truly feels like you're part of the game world especially *BECAUSE* there is not so much nonsense cluttering the screen or constant remarks - it's silence. so there is room for interpretation, room for making the player make their own RPG story about their very own character who enters these worlds. When it comes to Ubisoft on the other hand, I never really liked their games to begin with. Sure, I *did* enjoy Far Cry 2 back then, and I also played Far Cry 3 because I was into shooters, but there were also no real microtransactions during that time and games were overall, much fairer in general across the board. From Software in contrast to that almost feels much more like old Nintendo in some way - giving you *complete, full experiences* that you can put a *lot of hours* into because you *want* to immerse yourself in those worlds again. not because you potentially feel like you *have to* because there's still so many collectibles left and you 'kinda wanna platinum the game', but all of it just feels like a chore. this is also a very fitting point when we're coming back to the Souls games comparison I think, in other games I always absolutely *dreaded* to start the 'New Game+' Mode - with Souls Games though I sometimes even *looked forward to it* because they absolutely nailed the mechanics in that regard, in my opinion. In some way it truly feels satisfying to know how the developers seemingly are, and what their mindsets are like. Makes me appreciate so much more to think about how glad we can be that we have absolutely *exeptional* developers like From Soft who just occasionaly release an absolute banger that probably will be a must buy to keep us gamers happy.

None of my older controllers ( PS1, PS2, XBOX360) had or have even even today stick drift. But my Series S controller was drifting 2 week after I bought it brand new! And the drift was bad...I did all the tricks to get it fixed and it worked properly for one week untill the drifting started again! my xbox one controller never drifted but the bluethooth button stopped responding. Anyways it lasted 5 years, Series S controller 2 weeks and it certainly didnt had any dust sinse I hold it like a Queen and after drift started I cleaned it inside out, even if there was not even any dust or dirt anywhere.
