Sugar is cocaine and tea is cannabis, I mean...it IS. I wonder if our Maestro is aware of that? Doesn't matter, He doesn't need droogs!

Jonathan--decades ago my 15 yr. old brother studied with Allan Reuss in LA and learned to play (obviously not at your level!) and could play in combos and a big band of teenagers. Ollie couldn't play "mature solos" but could play lots of tunes At the age of 18 he heard Dennis Budimer, also 18, and decided that he could not be a professional guitarist. After a brief tour in the army, he decided to challenge himself be becoming a doctor. He no longer plays guitar but both classical and jazz piano. Google Dr. Oliver Goldsmith MD Kaiser-Permanente, Los Angeles. I'm extremely proud of him. Oh, I play trumpet--at 89 yrs. You're a fabulous musician! Regards Dick Goldsmith

I think of the music from the thirty’s and forty’s and background music in the movies makes me drift away and just absorb all the melodies and harmonies great playing a true musician ☃️🌟

Wow that was fantastic! Such a great arrangement and gorgeous playing!! That L5 is an orchestra all by itself!! What a sound you get on that thing!! The microphone is really capturing all of the lows and mids that usually get lost on youtube too!! Absolutely EPIC sweater!!! Merry Christmas, Jonathan!!!🎄🎄🎄

Charlie Christian was the first ever jazz guitarist whose language i implemented into my own playing and I’m so glad I did bc all of his lines are interesting and fresh. Loved your playing and take on a Charlie Christian-esque solo!
