This is awkward to watch. She was such a sweet girl, really, and they made her do some pretty silly things. Prince set her up in the wrong way (he was so perverted). I would have liked to have seen her as a rock singer - she did prefer rock music at first. I see this video and i can't decide what she's doing as she is not singing. She's dancing around like a fitness instructor and striking poses. The song is lousy and sounds so prince-like. At first, i thought Prince wrote it but nope, some other "prince" wrote it lol. When i see interviews with her, she seemed so out of place, uncomfortable, giggling like an airhead and playing the sex kitten. She didn't need to be so animated to be "sexy", she was sexy as she was. Too bad. Bad management. She needed someone to guide her image i think. But man, she could act super sweet and feminine.

You can tell she was visibly and extremely coked up high in this performance you can see it in her eyes,I've never seen this footage of her before.
